I intend to stir the pot at times, and express opinions on political and social issues. I do not plan on doing an exhaustive amount of research to support everyone of my statements but if you want to challenge where I get something, then do so. I am open to opposing viewpoints so we can all benefit from good sound dialogue. To borrow from one of the YouTube channels I follow, ”Be nice to each other”
Rammed through the Senate with a 50-50 vote and Kamala Harris, the Democrats intend to deliver a win for their political agenda featuring a misnomer bill called "The Deficit Reduction Act". Typical of government, this bill is described as a deficit reducer, while using intended increased taxes from corporations to fund the bill based on a minimum tax of 15% on corporate book income, not a 15% rate on taxable income. There is a big difference in those two terms.
The result may have unintended consequences of reducing employment and thereby reducing consumer spending, if corporations reduce spending to offset additional operating expenses. An increase in tax is just that; an increase in operating costs. What do corporations do when they have increased operating costs? They pass it on to consumers, that is what they do. Or, they reduce their employee costs by reducing the number of middle class workers, not from trimming from executive pay.
The dems are just looking to further the appearance of the bill by its mere name, and they fail to tell us what we really need to know about it. I seek to unveil some of these things the government fails to tell us.
This was my very first and initial podcast where I described the types of issues I cared about. I told others that I am a conservative person politically. I have continued to despise the democrat party and its sleezy tactics in discrediting Donald Trump, our 45th president, who did more to make positive changes to our country and to pushback against leftwing political policies than any president since Ronald Reagan.
Reagan did encounter pushback but never on the level of President Trump has experienced.
These democrats make my job SOOO easy. I don't have to think too hard to come up with things to criticize them for. There are numerous failed policies that do not reflect good common sense.
I am sorry to report that on my feed, people have began to emerge, but not any with anything positive to bash me about. They just want to criticize. I am quickly learning that it is pointless trying to engage people like that.
If one of the goals is to stir the pot, then I am accomplishing that.
