After an 18 year career the Freestylers have covered a full 360 degrees in the Bass Music genre, played all the biggest festivals, the most talked about Nightclubs around the World and even the quintessentially British music show, Top Of The Pops.
This interview was so much fun - as you will hear us giggling a lot, and a real insight to the UK music scene in the late eighties, early nineties. I learnt alot from Aston in this interview - so turn up the volume and ENJOY!!

This selection took a lot of digging and researching to find the right selection of music to conjure memories of eras gone by..here is my favourite selection of songs that represent the 30s through to the late 50s when war was going on and new styles of music were emerging that reflected the emotions felt by all. 30s Second World War and era known as the great depression. 1940s defined by World War II, the Holocaust, atomic bombs, and the beginning of the Cold War. 50s were recovering from the war.
NOSTALGIA
This podcast was an absolute joy for me to do! It has been a long time coming, and in my mind I have been planning it for nearly a decade.
It is an ode my dearest Nan, Muriel and also to my Father - my Nan used to walk around the house singing Peggy Lee and such and my Dad was a huge fan of Big Band.
The podcast will take you through my favourite singers, bands and songs from the 1930s through to the 1950s.
It took quite a great deal of digging, but was well worth it!

This is my first podcast and although Classical Music isnt my area of expertise, you could say that my musical journey started within the classical realm.
I did this podcast because although I am fortunate enough to do 2 regular radio shows a month where I get pretty much a free reign to play whatever music I like, there some areas I just never get the chance to delve into.
So this is that opportunity!
