Over the six episodes, Suzanne speaks with three experts - Dr Cynthia Wesley-Esquimaux, Ry Moran and Howard Jang - exploring power dynamics and leadership in the context of Indigenous and First Nation realms of thought. Through these conversations, gain a deeper understanding of how different power structures can be imagined, and how implementing indigenous wisdom into personal and professional life can reimagine what Power means.

Howard Jang is an independent consultant and was recently Vice President of Arts and Leadership at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. He has also been Professor of Professional Practice in the School for the Contemporary Arts at SFU, where he was responsible for the public Cultural and Community Programs.

In this episode, Ry Moran and Suzanne explore the concept of truth within the context of Indigenous wisdom, its importance, and the purpose it serves.
Ry Moran is Director of the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation. A member of the Métis Nation, he is committed to the preservation of Indigenous culture, language, and heritage and has facilitated gathering testimony from about 7000 residential school survivors.

Dr Cynthia Wesley-Esquimaux is the 1st Indigenous Chair for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada for Lakehead University and she continues to develop pathways forward to reconciliation across Canada. Cynthia was the inaugural Nexen Chair for Indigenous Leadership at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and remains a faculty member in the Indigenous Learning program.
