So here we are, seven weeks in and the grind has just started. You know, my perspective really starts to change as intentional prayer becomes a reality personally, and in my community. It's beautiful. He is refining. 2 Corinthians 4:7 says "But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us." I should be broken. Some days it is tempting to feel as a sad little abandoned jar with no purpose, so fragile and incapable. Yet through the power of Christ, in that brokenness, Christ followers can BOAST in their weakness.. because we have our strength in God alone. What else is there to do, knowing this, than to choose joy?
