The military branches do not communicate with each other in the event of an intra-branch sexual assault or harassment incident and differ on reporting procedures. If filed incorrectly, the crime is thrown to the wayside and nothing comes of it. This is the basis of the discussion today and how Emma wants to prevent and eliminate "green on green violence."

This episode we speak to two current members, Ronahi and Raperin, of the Women’s Protection Units or YPJ, an all-female militia that is closely affiliated with the YPG and part of the the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), also known as Rojava. Our guests are two international fighters who travelled to Rojava to participate and learn from the revolution.
The YPJ was instrumental in defeating ISIS in Syria and aided in the saving of 10,000 Yazidi peoples from genocide in 2014 when they liberated them from ISIS. The tribal zones and Waziristan were the home of America’s drone war, disrupting life in the area for the last roughly 20 years. This is the area which the Taliban fled to during America’s occupation of Afghanistan and where the Pakistani Taliban, or TTP, reside. Specifically Northern Waziristan.

This episode we will be talking to one of the revolution leaders from Lebanon, the 154th most corrupt country out of 180. Lebanon has plunged from 28 on the Corruption Perceptions Index to 24 in three short years, ranking around countries like Iran, Iraq, and Eritrea.
The country has been ravaged by hyperinflation and the Lebanese people that can’t leave are suffering.
This episode will explore Lebanon from the perspective of someone who is from, and lives in, the country just like our other episodes, we have worked closely with our guest and we will continue to work closely with her in hopes of aiding the Lebanese people in their struggles.
