While the children's books typically end when Nineveh repents, Wesley and Brenton point out that when you leave out chapter 4, Jonah becomes the hero rather than what is actually the truth... God forgives, God gets the glory, and God is the hero!

Simon the magician's position before God is questionable because while he does believe the message and is baptized, his actions and words might show that there is a level of belief that does not save.

Paul was a 'father' to the Corinthian church. And in the first letter, he starts off with a posture that many Christian men (or women, or mentors, or bosses, or...) should have towards their children.

There are some who have gifts given by God to lead the church. However, they can't do it all. Every Christian needs to all in with their gifts, and be 100% on board, ready to join God where He is at work.
