Customer service training is one of the biggest challenges in organisations globally. One of the reasons for this is that this training is often limited to customer service representatives. Good customer service skills should be developed in all employees, and it should focus on the root causes of customers' issues. That's how your company will consistently deliver the best customer service.

Emotional intelligence accounts for at least 58% of job performance (TalentSmartEQ). It impacts:
✅ Interpersonal relationships
✅ Leadership skills
✅ Stress management
...and many other factors that affect how people work.
Krystal Tomlinson, Founder of The Success Farm Life Academy, had a discussion with us about getting the most value out of emotional intelligence training. It isn't enough to mandate employees complete a few courses and call it a day. There needs to be a system for keeping track of how training impacts improvements in emotional intelligence.
One of the nuggets Krystal shared was that people who have high EQ and lower IQ tend to be better leaders than those who have high IQ and low EQ. Being brilliant and skilled is only half of the job. Knowing how to be aware of your own emotions and those of others makes a huge difference. Applying emotional intelligence is important for workplace success.
Here's more of what Krystal shared about EQ and emotional intelligence training.
