Week 7 Pastor Brannons helps us understand eschatology. The biblical approach to eschatology begins with curiosity about Jesus. Eschatology is not information about God’s plan for later. It’s about involving us in God’s purposes right now.

During this three week series on gratitude, we will unpack God's Word to see how gratitude is understood from a Biblical sense. Gratitude is the choice to respond to God’s goodness shown or God’s goodness expected. In week three, we looked at how we walk through hard seasons, how we lament, how we Gospel our hearts (in an action sense) back toward Jesus when we are in the midst of such overwhelming and unbearable circumstances. Our greatest need is God Himself.
During this three week series on gratitude, we will unpack God's Word to see how gratitude is understood from a Biblical sense. Gratitude is the choice to respond to God’s goodness shown or God’s goodness expected. In week two, we looked at defining gratitude from a Biblical perspective, and how the story of David - the death of his son because of his sin and the gratitude cultivate - shows us how God is God and God is good no matter what. We choose to respond to God’s goodness shown and God’s goodness expected, and can cultivate gratitude in the midst of grief.
During this three week series on gratitude, we will unpack God's Word to see how gratitude is understood from a Biblical sense. Gratitude is the choice to respond to God’s goodness shown or God’s goodness expected. In week one, we looked at defining gratitude from a Biblical perspective, and how the life of Elijah displays the truth of God’s goodness shown or God’s goodness expected. We can only know what God’s done in the past or what He has promised to do in the future if we spend time with God’s Word and God’s people.
Your life has a story to tell. A story of a God who works in incredible ways. Join us over the next five weeks to look at the life and story of Paul. Paul's life was not about Paul. It was about what God was able to do with Paul. As we look at the work of Jesus in every season of Paul's life, we learn that our stories celebrate God's incredible work and the workings of God's Kingdom through His redeemed people.
In week four, we looked at the life of Paul as a pastor. We journey through 1 Thessalonians 2 to grasp a clear picture of what a pastor should be, what church should be, as well as good leadership principles regardless of our daily rhythms and spaces. The truth of the church is that it is imperfect people pointing to a perfect Savior imperfectly.
In week three, we looked at the life of Paul as a church planter. We unpacked the reality that church planting is always incarnation - mirroring the God who “became flesh and dwelt among us.” It is done in community for gospel proclamation and usually means opposition. It will be hard. But we can rest in God’s sovereignty and trust that He is with us - because it takes time.
In week two, we looked at the life of Paul as a missionary. God restored Paul to make him his chosen instrument to proclaim the good news of Jesus to "the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel." A missionary is someone called by God, commissioned by the local church, to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel to people who don't know Jesus yet. The Christian life is meant to be lived outwardly, and Paul's life shows us that the call to proclaim Jesus is not just for some but for all. Our roles and parts may look different, but Jesus has commissioned us to go into all the world - in our everyday rhythms and spaces.
Your life has a story to tell. A story of a God who works in incredible ways. Join us over the next five weeks to look at the life and story of Paul. Paul's life was not about Paul. It was about what God was able to do with Paul. As we look at the work of Jesus in every season of Paul's life, we learn that our stories celebrate God's incredible work and the workings of God's Kingdom through His redeemed people. Week One we unpacked the reality that Gospel identity is always received and is never achieved. As we unpack the life of Paul to see how Jesus radically changed every facet of his life, we will be pressed to know our faith story and have the courage to share it. Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future. Belonging to the Father is not about what I have done for Him but what He has done for me.

We must not be surprised at suffering and challenging times as followers of Jesus, and we must remember our hope is in Jesus in the midst of whatever suffering we face.
If you want to make a difference you have to be made different, which only happens through the power of Jesus.
How we respond to suffering, as sons and daughters of God, points to where we place our hope.
As we examine our roles in God's design we must hold with the same dignity as Jesus and not expect from others what only Jesus can give.
Christians should be so loving, so caring, so good inside out given political structure that those who would speak out against us would look foolish for doing so.
We have been born again through Christ and Christ alone and love one another because of who we are, not based on how other's respond.
We need reminded of who we are and Who's we are so that we can conduct ourselves in a way that represents our Father well.
