Sin has results, no sin is committed in a void of consequence. Lamentations 2 is all about what God is doing to Judah, and not what Judah did to get here. The comfort of God’s presence had gone cold. God’s hand of blessing was withdrawn, and His hand of punishment remained.

None of the people in the Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11 were perfect. Most were flawed in some way and did not see what had been promised. However they demonstrated Faith in that promise and are inducted in the Hall of Faith. Today we have the realization of the promise and coming of the new covenant bought by the blood of Jesus.

The old covenant was held in such high regard by Israel…. Because they could see with their eyes and touch with their hands the objects of the covenant. Jesus divine nature did not exempt Him from experiencing the full reality of human suffering, but Jesus willingly submitted to the Father’s will. Jesus therefore became the perfect mediator between God and mankind. Yet many people do not understand this fundamental concept in scripture. Jeremiah had been hated and persecuted by his own people, but now in desperation they turn to Jeremiah. The people feared the future, but they had already predetermined that they should flee to Egypt. We begin this episode 8 in chapter 3 where Paul describes the nature of Christian living. How are Christians to leave this life and adopt a life that that honors God? What does it mean to set your heart to things above? What kind of life honors God?

What is contained in these visions is amazing. In fact, all the apocalyptic material in scripture was influenced by this vision. God was trying to tell us something.
In this 17th Episode in the Book of Daniel chapter 6, those officials that plotted against Daniel now spied on Daniel’s every move, looking through windows and open doors to find Daniel praying openly to his God therefore giving them a chance to accuse and execute the edicts against him. What happens next is a miracle provision of God.
In this 16th Episode in the Book of Daniel chapter 6 we find one of the most familiar stories in all of scripture. Daniel was over 80 years old and under a new government formed by the Medes and Persians after the fall of Babylon. He was about to be appointed head over all administrators in the new government, some began to plot against him.
In this 15th Episode in the Book of Daniel chapter 5 we continue where King Belshazzar was terrified as a disembodied hand writes on the wall of the palace while Belshazzar was hosting an alcohol fueled party using the gold vessels from the temple in Jerusalem. The writing on the wall required the aging Daniel to again tell the king what God was pronouncing.
In this 14th Episode in the Book of Daniel chapter 5 we see Nebuchadnezzar has passed from the scene and his grandson Belshazzar was now acting as coregent with his father Nabonidus. Belshazzar did not learn the lessons of humility before Yahweh or honored God and his sovereignty.
In this 13th Episode in the Book of Daniel chapter 4 we look at how the judgement on Nebuchadnezzar, given to him in a dream, now becomes a reality. One year later, all the horrible events that were foretold in the dream are set in motion by Nebuchadnezzar’s pride.

In this 10th Episode in the Book of Daniel chapter 3 we see Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego sentenced to burn to death for failure to worship the statue that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. But the king needed to be reminded that he is not in charge and God is sovereign.
Does God have all power? Undoubtedly. Is God able to deliver believers from all difficulties and trials? Certainly. Does God deliver believers from all trials? Well no, God may be wanting to build our character for a number of reasons. The purposes for trials that come into our lives may not be understood, but God asks us to simply trust Him.
In this 8th Episode in the Book of Daniel chapter 2 We see a king that was overwhelmed by the truth spoken by Daniel and fell down in awe. Nebuchadnezzar witnessed a miracle and responded accordingly but his pride will be a continuing issue for him.
In this 7th Episode in the Book of Daniel chapter 2 Daniel having been given the nature of Nebuchadnezzar's dream and its interpretation from God now explains the dream to the king and we see an astonishing prophesy of accuracy and depth.

Four young men now united in prayer for an answer that can only be supplied by God. Nebuchadnezzar had given a short reprieve from a death sentence…. showing that the king found something in Daniel quite extraordinary
In this 5th Episode in the Book of Daniel we see how God’s gifts to Daniel are being set up to accomplish the impossible from a human perspective. Nebuchadnezzar has a disturbing dream but refuses to tell the normal advisors what it was, and expects them to interpret.
In this 4th Episode in the Book of Daniel we see the blessings that God gives Daniel and his friends for the faithfulness they demonstrated as captives in a pagan land. We see that God is the ultimate giver of abilities and gifts to be used for His purposes.

Aconflict exists between the “Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood”. John gives us an exam that is eternally significant. Here is the criteria for testing truth and error.
Having shown that love is the evidence of life in the child of God, John now gives a supreme example set for us showing this kind of love in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
In this Episode 9 in 1 John 3 we see love in action. We have seen that God is light and a stark comparison between light and darkness or righteousness and sin. Here John speaks to us with an emphasis on love. We will review how the absence of love in a child of God is inconsistent with the message of love that was proclaimed to the Apostle John’s readers.
