I wrote these poems when I had my first born child. I still feel the same way I do now as I did then. The love will not ever fade no matter how old my love grows. I will always be there until the end of my days.
I realize this may be a very sensitive topic for many who have experienced abuse in their childhood. Nonetheless , I am one who can place myself in others shoes and make them understand that we were all born equal under the moon , sun , stars , and sky. We all are here to fulfill our God given purpose before we make our grand departure out of this dimension and our souls transition into our eternal homes. Therefore , We have to live everyday like it as our last.
Sometimes people are not really your tribe. They just want to keep tabs on you and want to sabotage the oppurtunities that you have been granted. The best person to vent to is God and your significant other. You
You owe it to yourself to go love and cater to yourself. You owe it to yourself to cut ties with everyone who robs you of peace and joy. You owe it to yourself to put an end to every toxic habit that is detrimental to your mental , emotional , and physical wellbeing. Wishing you all more good times , endless laughter , unconditional loves , I Do's , promotions , and elevating this New Year !!!!
I never tripped over who left cause those are the ones who I know were never down to finding a resolution for their trauma. They just wanted to be connected through trauma bonds. I done learned my lesson. I rather be solo than stressing and trying to play cards that I wasn't dealt with. Everyone who I no longer dealt with showed me their true colors in not only their actions but their words. I'm not joining nobody else's circus nor fighting nobody else's battles.
Now, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't misunderstood since my adolescence. I was the who was speaking yet being spoken over with a voice so soft. I was ridiculed for my beauty by those who felt less than and was intimidated by my deameanor . Even those who would chase me down for my attention turned out to be phony , narcissistic , abusive , and the grimiest of them all.
Many people are oblivious to mental illnesses and how it doesn't take much for some people to snap. You never know how close some people are to their breaking point. It definitely isn't easy sticking besides someone who deals with mental illnesses. It's basically like they have a war in their mind , and they can't find peace. It can be numerous things from losing a loved one , career , abuse , etc, that can cause problems and people to spiral out of control.
My faith is what has kept me. Destiny has always taken me where it was meant to. I literally helped heal and mold so many individuals when they were at their lowest. I got to the point where I said I will no longer allow people to treat me like an option, some for Now & Later. I'm not a dumpster for them to drain the joy , love , peace , and sanity out of me. We moved on accordingly. It took so many years for me to comprehend the message that God was trying to tell me. I never was much of a people person to begin with , but when you're kept to yourself, people in the mix tend to navigate toward you. When their energy doesn't align with your aura, you have to start doing the subtracting. If you allow yourself to be consumed by other people's problems , you will not have anything left to give to yourself. You will be so full of drama and baggage.
Once African Americans begin to stick together, we will be a force to be reckoned. We can not excel when we are our own worse enemies. We can not progress with a crab in a bucket mentality. It really doesn't matter what other ethnic groups think as long as we all know our worth. We all have to share this planet , so we may as well live in unity , peace , and spread love and joy like pixie dust.
May you be the love you always craved in this chaotic society. I always knew that I was born to create and spread love like a wildfire. Everything that the Devil thought could break me only made me stronger and more equipped to withstand any obstacle life has thrown at me. I am protected from my head down to my feet.
I may be biased , but I hope my children focus on themselves and their goals. It's not a crime to be single and live your best life. It's better than being manipulated and walked all over like a doormat. I know firsthand that people are disappointing. You should always ask people straightforward what they want from you. If they can not be honest , that's red flag number one. If their family dismiss their toxic behavior and attitude , then that's toxic trait number two. If their friends know that they're physically , verbally , mentally , emotionally , or financially abusive , then there's all you need to know. You have to know that you're a queen , and you don't ever have to settle. You have to know that you're a king , and you don't have to be in the "market," as they say to experience genuine love and connections.
Believe in yourself even if you don't have a support system. There will always be people ready to project their own insecurities onto you. You can't let it deter your path to success. You really have to know your worth , and stop surrounding yourself around people who partake in foolishness. Life will pass you by.
I learned early on what it was like to be manipulated. I won't go into detail , but you really have to know that you are worthy of the love and praise that you give others. It was not easy watching firsthand growing up how narcissistic some people can be. Some people will drain you , but it will only work if you allow it. You have to know how to use reverse psychology. It is one way you won't be taken advantage of. Another is to never ever have your bank account connected nor lend money to people cause of some sob story , because too often will people do some grimey things for money. Lastly , a wise woman once told me not to tell the person you are dating everything about you and your loved ones. You never really know peoples' intentions even if there are YEARS behind the relationship and friendship. Please instill these things into your children. They could be taken advantage of, too. In the world that we live in, you are not unlikely to deal with these things.
I started my podcast during the pandemic. I hope this message reaches who needs to reach. Don't be afraid to be your authentic self. Once you own your power, you will definitely rise above the drama , chaos , negativity , etc. You won't be programmed nor remain stagnant.
To whom it may concern, I pray my sons know their worth. I pray they grow up to be kings and be independent. I pray they don't ever settle for nobody who treats them like a doormat. I pray they realize that real is rare.
People from the past always tend to resurface when your dreams become manifested. A lot of people don't be down for the long haul which is why you have to be your own backbone and ready to adapt to all phases of life. Many people may walk out on you while you're getting your life together. I'm here to tell you to let them go. Stop allowing them to rob you of of your peace and sanity. Happy New Years ! May God keep you , protect you , heal you , guide you , and bless you and your union abundantly ! 2022 is your time to shine in a major way ! There's no more time to keep being humble and dimming your light at the expense of pleasing others ! You're either all in or all out !

~ The first step to change is to acknowledge our wrongs and take accountability of the way we have made others feel in the midst of our chaos. Healing is not a walk in the park. Some days we just don't want to be bothered and shut down and cry to ourselves. Other days we feel like we have total control and realize that we are not our trauma.
~ Our trauma is an experience that we don't have to remain attached to. We can free our mind , body , & spirit from all the detrimental effects that has tried to run the course of us living a life full of joy , love , peace , abundance , & prosperity. As we heal ourselves we pave the way to a more peaceful path for the ones who come after us.
~ Lets make it easier for those who come after us to live their best lives. Our past , present , & any future mishaps don't define us. It's how we go about conducting ourselves instead of wallowing in whatever it is we seem to be constantly battling with. Lets not bring up people's past to try to dim their light when they have overcame their trauma and made it out on the other side. ©quiara

Sometimes it's best to forgive and forget inorder to grow psychologically , emotionally , & spiritually , because holding grudges is self sabotaging behavior.
Why do you think the art of forgiveness is important?
•I personally believe we deserve infinite peace , happiness , laughter , and genuine people with kindred spirits in our corner. We don't have to be there to watch people's karma touch down and witness their lives spiral downhill. And we surely don't owe anyone an explanation on why we want to wash our hands with them.
How do you go about overcoming traumatic experiences?

• I believe it's a must that we operate from profound happiness and peace especially if we have babies and/or a small child(ren) , because mental + emotional illness is not just hereditary. If you don't seek to know the truth , They'll always be someone trying to dictate the life you live. One who keeps their mind open to learn will always be a force to be reckoned. Little girls speak on women empowerment until it's a topic that calls them out on their foolishness , but women own up to their foolish decisions and better themselves inorder to lead by example. Little girls laugh at the next girl's pain. Women uplift and support other women. Little girls seek approval and often the wrong attention. They haven't come to know what they want out of life and are easily influenced and manipulated. Women are not pleased by worldly riches and don't settle for mediocrity. After the storm comes rainbows , but too often we are blinded by obstacles that life throws in the way of manifesting our dreams and aspirations. Our hard working , go getter demeanor will open doors that would easily be opened for others who are born into wealth and fame. The color of our skin don't make us less worthy of being successful , enjoying luxury , and being granted opportunities to help us manifest our vision. We must be open to learning about other cultures and breaking stereotypes. Too often society shines the light on deadbeat dads as if deadbeat moms are nonexistent. If we don't teach our sons to avoid women who don't show them characteristics they would want to marry and have a family with , Then they have no business coming onto her sexually. They shouldn't allow her to come onto them either cause it's not going to end in anyone's favor most importantly the child.
