This podcast is dedicated to students that are seeking to live of their Christian faith in obedience to the command from James 1:22 where he says, “Be doers of the word and not hearers only deceiving yourselves.” In the coming episodes, we will address the problems you face as students and apply Biblical principles to those problems—with the goal and desire to help you connect the truth from God’s word with actions—providing you with steps to exercise in your life that take you from information to application.
James 1: 22 says to be a doer of God’s Word. You can’t do what you don’t remember.
How often have you read your Bible, listened to a sermon, or been in a small group discussion, and felt like what you were taking in was important, only to later not remember what you heard or read? You are not alone, and there is a remedy to this problem. To be impacted by Scripture, you must put that Scripture to work in your life by learning the lost art of Scripture memorization.
