But alas, this will be the last stop of the season, for it is true that the rio might freeze...or that the Hunt might be near. When the wind blows into the night, there is a distinctive sound of hoof beats and cow bells. The logical explanation would be: cattle, of course! But no, chains are being dragged, and there are glowing red eyes. In the lands of the tall trees, a monster lurks upon us in the boat.

Many souls hold onto the physical world as a result of horrible deaths, many countries have their own tales of witches and the trials they were put to. None so famous as to what happened in a small New England town, but stay and hear more of the stories that are tied to it.
There is a faint light in the shadows, and as it gets closer you see it's a grinning head, and a ghostly man with haunted eyes holding it to light the way. Somewhere as the boat continues along the river, you hear a horse and see a death coach passing by with a headless figure as the driver. As we reach the darker half of the year, and in honor of the start of Spooky Season we dive back into our own past ghostly experiences. The nights are turning longer, and the chill in the air calls for stories to be told.
Something hits the boat, causing it to toss and shift violently, the waves splashing, and the knuckles that grip the oars and the side of the boat turn white with a cold fear. Tonight, the waters of the rio are darker than usual, something is here with us, we have never been alone.
There is a distinctive shadow forming close to the boat. As we get closer, you hear it suddenly, a faint weep. We get closer, closer, the weeping turning into mournful wails and it is when we see her, as though formed out of the mists.
When the night is overcome by a chill, and the mist settles in, you hear it...a howl, and you see two glowing red eyes through the fog, staring at you from across the river. Join us to see if we can make it through this encounter.
The journey takes us to Waxahachie, Texas where active ghosts haunt the hallways of infamous hotels, a lovely and cozy restaurant, and where spurned love decorates the outside walls of its famous courthouse. (Also featuring a small intermission due to Abby's cat, Cali, wanting pets)
Haunted elevators, mysterious chicken deaths, and door-rattling ghosts. These are the stories of haunts that we've experienced and stuck with us for years to come!
During this stop on the river we are guest to wooden leg funerals, tropical sun and a murderous countess! Veracruz hosts a rich history and mysterious stories of disappearing men and mystical women.
