Important correction to today's episode:We want to correct one thing from the podcast regarding applying for Medicaid. We said that proof-of-income had to be submitted with the Medicaid application when people experience loss of income due to COVID-19. Medicaid reached out to us after the podcast and clarified: Currently proof of loss of income is not required. Medicaid is using self-attested income statements. This is due to relaxed restrictions on their eligibility policies per CMS and the Families First COVID-19 Federal Legislation.
