Casey shares some of her crazy adventures, interesting stories and her personal journey from a life that is been anything but average. She talks about what it was like growing up in South Africa and moving to Australia as a teenager. Since then she has lived in 4 different countries and travelled to more than 40, many of them as a solo traveller. She will also be spilling the beans on behind the scenes and gossip from working onboard giant cruise ships. Casey has now built a freedom-based business and a home on wheels so she will be sharing all her adventures travelling around Australia in a van throughout 2021.
In this fun episode, we share some of our favourite travel experiences, what happens when shit goes wrong, and how the pandemic has impacted travel. We also have a discussion about can and should everyone go travel and more.

Gosh so much has happened since last week's episode! I had my first night completely off-grid & alone, and in the middle of nowhere! I spent a few days in a big mining town and met a few of the locals, and something pretty important broke in the van!

This is the first episode coming to you from the road! I am finally living in the van full time and travelling Australia!

I was onboard The Anthem of the Seas when the US government announced the 30-day sail suspension in March 2020. The beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic! My Journey from Australia to Miami to start my first cruise ship contract!
It took me 3 flights, 16 hours in layovers and almost 40+ hours to get from Sydney to Miami.
It was a long, fun, interesting journey just getting to Miami, and then a 19 hour day getting onto the ship and getting straight work!
