During a meeting with the student organization "The Awakening", which is a National Ministry with IPHC, Linda met one particular student who was studying "Christian Ministry" and had a special love of "reading and writing". She expressed an interest in working as a Christian Author. Linda, having also authored books and a devotional, was also looking for someone with this interest and talent to come along side helping with the next book. You never know when revelation of God’s purpose and plan is waiting just around the next corner.

Linda received a call from a weary father, learning he had lost hope for his 58-year-old daughter who had walked through 4 marriages, a drug and alcohol addiction, 3 cancer diagnoses, and was now showing herself to be suicidal. In his searching for peace of mind, the father presented Linda with the question, “Will my suicidal daughter be saved?” Linda reached out to his daughter and spoke with her at length via phone, promising to reach out the next day to giver her the one thing she said she needed – a hug! That very next day, as Linda was planning to visit, she learned the girl had already admitted herself into the hospital. If miracles can happen for others, why not for you. “The voodoo people are here” is what the orphan children were yelling when we arrived back at the orphanage. The introduction was made between Linda and the beautiful couple. This led to a miraculous healing of a lady who had been laying on the floor for over 8 days in the bottom of a room that looked like it was in a dungeon. God healed her immediately and allowed her to eat after starving for over 8 days. This is NOT the end of the story.
