More recently, she was Associate Professor at FLAME University, Pune. She holds a PhD degree in Film Studies from University of Nottingham, England, two Masters’ degrees, and is a gold medallist from Jadavpur University. In 2001, she won a prestigious and competitive British Chevening Open scholarship to pursue a postgraduate course in Communications at the University of Leeds.
