There are always things in this life that are eye catching. The lasted thing, the new thing, has a tendency to draw us to it. But when a person becomes a child of God they are walking into a brand new thing and I hope and pray they continue to walk and not stop.
So many things are unaccepted in this world we live in. We have to make choices every day, weather they be good choices or bad, accepted choices or unaccepted choices. I hope and pray you choose Jesus Christ as your personal savior.
We've all seen beautiful homes or buildings either through pictures or in person. A lot of times those homes or buildings have beautiful landscapes full of flowers and all types of hedges. Hedges serve a purpose some times its for beauty and some times its for protection to keep things out. As children of God we have an adversary that want come into our premises and destroy what God has built in our lives. What we have to do is build our hedges as strong as we can in God's word.
Have you ever been putting together a puzzle only to realize you are missing a piece when your almost finished? You will search high and low to find that missing piece so the puzzle will be complete. Sometimes life can get like that searching everywhere trying to find the missing pieces that we think will make our life complete. While you are searching trying calling on Jesus he will be the piece to make your life complete.
Anybody that has ever stepped into a boxing ring knows that the round begins with a bell and ends with a bell. Their objective is to fight till the opponent is down or they hear the bell. As children of God we had a starting bell when we became born again and we wont hear the ending bell till Jesus comes back for the church. So we have to continue to fight till the round is over.
Have you ever been doing something and said to yourself "I sure wish I could start over"? Ever thrown the wrong ingredients in what you were cooking and realize starting over is your only option? Maybe life hasn't turned out like you planned and your looking to "start over"? Well I've great news God is in the business of giving people a new life and a brand new start.
Have you ever been caught up in the heat of the moment? Has anger ever got the best of you? We have all dealt with anger in some form or fashion, some to the extreme and some not so extreme. Anger wants to rob us of happiness, joy, peace, and even love, but with the help of Jesus Christ we can control anger and not let it control us.
We've all been in the situation where we've had something to say but for fear of maybe hurting someone's feelings or making someone mad we were reluctant to say it. But no matter what the situation it is always better to tell the truth, and to not let fear keep you from telling the truth.
I'm sure you've heard the term "that person sure is driven" could this term describe you? Are you a driven person? What are somethings that drive you? As children of God sometimes we have to examine what really drives us.
Have you ever been hit with something in this walk of life that made you want to give up? Have you ever got some news that you weren't expecting to get? We have all been there and its in those time where you have to ask yourself the question do I quit or do I keep going. I hope and pray you keep fighting the good fight of faith.
What are some issues in your life? have you tried everything you know to try to correct things that seem wrong in your life? What if your issue is not a physical but a spiritual issue would you know how to fix this kind of issue? God knows how to fix it, the question is are you ready to let him?
We've all heard the term "just be yourself" but should a child of God have this mindset?
