Charlie Easmon
Dr. Charlie Easmon isn’t your usual doctor. With a 30-year background in medicine, Charlie now wants to explore other people’s life stories as we learn from the grafters, creators, and outlaws to learn how to enhance our own lives and those of others.
George Underwood is a British artist and musician. He is best known for designing album covers for numerous bands in the 1970s and his collaborations with long-term friend, singer-songwriter David Bowie.
George joins Charlie for a great conversation about his incredible career. After deciding that the music business was not for him, George returned to art studies and then worked in design studios as an illustrator. Initially he specialised in fantasy, horror and science fiction book covers.
Many of George Underwood's colleagues in the music business asked him to do various art works for them. This led to George becoming a freelance artist. Art work for the first T Rex album and later David Bowie’s Hunky Dory and Ziggy Stardust album covers established him as a leading and creative art illustrator.

Vince Nyafi, a friendly black cab driver from London, recently shared his wealth of knowledge and experience gained over his 12 years on the job with Charlie. The conversation covered a wide range of topics, beginning with Vince's journey from Walthamstow Market to driving a black cab, and the extensive knowledge required to be a successful cabbie. Vince also spoke about how driving a black cab has expanded his brain and given him a "third eye" for navigating the city. He explained the unique mechanics of the old black cabs, which have been modernized for environmental and human health benefits.
The interview also delved into Vince's personal life, including his unconventional journey to success, starting with learning to sell flowers at a young age and eventually owning a house and business by the age of 21. He shared the challenges of losing everything and rebuilding, and the strong relationships he maintains with his divorced parents. Vince spoke about the social and "counsellor" role that black cab drivers often take on with their customers, including dealing with drunk passengers. He also addressed topics like heartbreak in the modern world and the importance of positivity.
