Tom Mutch is a journalist from New Zealand based in Kyiv, Ukraine. He is a correspondent for the New Zealand Herald, and also has worked published in The Times, The Daily Beast, and more. Tom spent almost all of last year living in and reporting from Ukraine, with a few other assignments in places like Georgia. For almost two months now, residents of this enclave have been stuck with dwindling supplies of food, medicine, and other basics necessities.
