On this week's episode, Tara and Kayla discuss Kayla's journey with PCOS - polycystic ovary syndrome, from initial symptoms, to diagnosis, finding the root cause, and how she found the secret ingredient to work towards healing.

According to the Medical Journal of Australia 'PCOS affects 8–13% of reproductive-age women, with around 21% of Indigenous women affected.' And around 70% of women with PCOS still remain undiagnosed, and that is not surprising given Kayla's story and how so many people tried to steer her in the wrong direction but she listened to her intuition and body and knew something wasn't right.

In this episode:

  • PCOS Symptoms
  • How to diagnose PCOS, the main criteria
  • What is PCOS?
  • Taking the pill and skipping periods
  • How a naturopath shifted Kayla's journey
  • Maintaining a regular cycle
  • The mental side of PCOS
  • The timeframe for healing

Can it be cured? Can it be reversed? Listen now to find out more, and stay tuned for Part 2 next week.

Trigger Warning: This episode talks about Miscarriage

In this week's episode Tara is going solo due to trouble with the universe aligning Tara and Kayla's schedules before Tara went away on holidays, these things happen and Tara has used this opportunity to talk about her miscarriage on Christmas Day in 2019.

This episode is a little heavier than some of our previous ones, one in four pregnancies end in miscarriage and Tara found that listening to other women tell their stories it helped her with the grieving process and hopes this may do the same for someone else.
