I made a TikTok account and it was an interesting few months. That platform is very different. It wasn't really my thing, pepsi/coke, chevy/ford type thing I guess. Making comedic videos gets a lot of crazy comments on facebook. Randy Blaukat followers are cult members. The new Ikon boat is crazy nice. I'm going to make a better schedule for the podcast and working on a steady vlog type youtube videos to be more consistent. working the algorithm is hard if you don't want to do it lol. check me out on all the social media platforms. Have you wanted to know different routes that you can take to make a career in the bass fishing industry? I go over a few avenues that you can take and some things to look for when pursuing those paths. I go on a few rants here and there about things I like and don't like about how the content creator side keeps pushing the same stuff, and if that doesn't get them traction, they go for anger content.
I go over:
Making videos- repeating the same old process, new content, anger content, needing to know how to record good video, good audio, how to edit, good camera angles. All of that on top of being a good angler and making engaging content.
Influencers: Making a career on Instagram, TikTok, and making reels/shorts. How most of all the people that are followers are actually fake. Followers are not the most important aspect of how good your content is. Engagement on your post mean more than anything.
Podcast: Plenty of room for more fishing podcasts.
Ego will suck the fun out of everything in fishing. Not a fan of all those angry people.
