On 7/1/2023 I recorded a reflection titled "Reconciling Our Past Self".
After a much needed pause (during which I processed a lot of my past) I started to see the hard-earned mental labor of reconciling who I am. Who are we when we consider who we were in the past? Who do others still think we are? As relational, curious, and loving humans, we never stop growing and transforming.

Anthony Clemente and I met last year at a gathering I held in December 2022. On 03/24/2023 he and I get to sit down and record an episode on his passion for animals, particularly our feline friends. I hope you get to listen and / turn in and enjoy our conversation.
Anthony studied graphic design at Indian River State College. He has been working as the Lean Logistic Captain, subject matter expert in the Walgreen’s Distribution Center. Some of his hobbies include disc golf, emotionally engaging video games, a wide range of music and, and his passion has always been animals, particularly felines. He is the caring owner of 2 kitties named Raistlin and Melody. He also volunteers his time at Dogs and Cats Forever, in Fort Pierce, Florida. Sofia G. Bertarioni earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and minored in Studio Art from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2021. She is a Ramyeon lover, K-Drama enthusiast, and a professional sleeper. Sofia is my youngest sister. Her and I have many conversations, so this was special.
Sofia and I engage in a “Would You Rather” banter and other fun get to know you questions that broach the subject of growing up together. I encourage being curious in all friendships, and especially the ones that can be formed with siblings. I consider myself blessed to have a friend in my sisters. Sofia and I have a special dynamic and I know now how she has played a tremendous role in making me the human I am. I am always thankful to be around the lovely, creative and fun loving human that she is.

On 03/04/2023 I had a conversation with Meena Rivera on the Memoir she authored: Finding Joy In Suffering. Listen in on her journey of how journaling and writing lead her to write this memoir. Writing was a practice that was therapeutic for her and has become an impactful testament of God’s grace and love for others. We discuss the reality of mental suffering: suicidal thoughts, mental health struggles, and our human desire to know purpose.
It is amazing to hear more about her service in community and ministry and the call to sit with the painful parts of our stories. I am so thankful to have had the privilege to have read her story and to have conversed with her on this personal level.
Bonus: it is exciting to know she is still writing, and there is more to come and she invites you to connect with her.

On 03/02/2023 I sit down and reflect on grief. In honor and remembrance of my sister Paola Gulsari Bertarioni's 26th birthday.
She was born March 3, 1996 in Costa Rica and died at three years old on August 16, 1999 in the United States of America.
I share some thoughts and something I wrote out personally for and to her. A poem I call the Ambulance Siren.
This may be a triggering episode if you have experienced loss, or grief.
