And... we're back! New stuff coming out along with a new design! Full larp community full of awesome for you and your larps to use if you so wish! This was actually the first time we tried to re-launch the website. Then the bioweapon was released and everything got put on hold until now.
12/16/22 Edit - We now have a new site up, server, support. We'll be introducing a new system called Broken Thrones which will have a lot of the fun stuff from Myths, but streamlined. Come be part of the fun! Make a character, help us design the system by commenting on the draft system, and then 2023, we'll begin hosting games and helping others do the same!

Tonight I'll be recording a Tavern Talk video podcast entitled "change is bad, a plea to LarpCraft". It will talk about the changes, how people are adjusting and what people are saying.
Edit: 12/16/22 What I didn't say in the cast, was how toxic myself and others had become because of all the meetings, all the "progress" and a runaway rulebook. This was the beginning of the end for myself and others. It's funny because Ufnar Kargaroth and I were talking about this today (12/16/22) as we look at what happened and how not to repeat this again in Broken Thrones. End Edit
Now that hundreds have filled out the smart waiver and gave feedback, I'll be talking about said feedback we've been getting. We'll also be talking about the first land claims that have happened in game by players with little to no formal training.
This podcast is a serious one. I'm going to present options based on feedback from players that will need to be addressed by the core team. Despite what some of you may think, we listen to player comments, we read the feedback left, and we watch social media. We care about the players and the system and, like I said, there are some common trends we need to adjust based on said feedback from players.
I'll also be referencing wild west, risen and galactic as proof that changes are done (see those systems in the systems tab up top (hover over to bring the drop down menu up)). I'll also be mentioning the one-off project called Genesis that, while being done as a Nordic system, it will still follow the core mechanics of LarpCraft. While this is not yet linked to larpcraft as a whole, (because we are not sure it's even going to ever release) you can see the system at genesislarp.com.
As the title says, change is bad. This Tavern Talk explains the justification for why the final changes took place and why we were at the point of "this is it" and "major changes are no longer possible". Looking forward, I'll be spelling out the main goals of LarpCraft are now being realised and what those goals are.

We combined season 4 with season 3 since there wasn't really too much in season 4. Season 5 Episode 1 talks about the game growing and the colonies growing within LarpCraft.
