Cold, Hot, or Lukewarm
- The Cold
The cold represents the unconverted.
- The Hot
Nothing holds them back from praising the Lord.
They delight and find by serving within God’s Kingdom.
Giving to God’s Kingdom is not an option.
It doesn’t matter who’s preaching or singing.
Passion and burden for the lost.
They don’t gossip or badmouth the Pastor or the brethren.
They have a never give up attitude.
Instead of getting filled off the things of this world they are getting filled with the power of the Holy Ghost.
- The Lukewarm
Was hot at one time and cooled off.
Never got hot after salvation.
Stagnated where they were spiritually comfortable.
Came through the door of Acts 2:38 but then sat at the door of Acts 2: 38.
Feed the flesh more than the spirit.
Used the grace of God for a license to sin.
Publicly victorious but privately defeated.
The lukewarm Christian will stay behind.
