What happens when the relentless pursuit of perfectionism clashes with the serenity of faith? Join me, Lemon Price, on the Milk and Honey podcast as I engage in a heartfelt conversation with my dear friend Vivian. Vivian opens up about her extraordinary journey toward balancing the demands of life while renewing her commitment to God. From the mental exhaustion she faced to the pivotal moment she rededicated her life to God, Vivian shares how she found purpose beyond mere career ambitions. We discuss how her experience of perfectionism and control during personal and family health crises led her to a deeper trust in God's plan and taught her the value of intentional living amidst life's chaos.
Can the quest for parental approval and societal acceptance shape our faith journey in unexpected ways? In our candid dialogue, Vivian and I uncover how growing up in a perfectionist household influenced her self-perception and habits into adulthood. We explore the pressure of seeking parental approval, the struggles with body image, and the societal judgments that compounded her anxiety. Through sharing personal stories, we highlight how these challenges intersect with our relationship with God, often revealing deeper truths about our faith and identity that we hadn't initially recognized.
How do you surrender your dreams to a higher power without losing sight of them? In the final chapters, we delve into the emotional journey of letting go of perfectionism and surrendering control to God's timing. I share my own experience of facing this at a writer's conference, where I had to come to terms with trusting God's plan over my personal ambitions. Alongside Vivian's testimony, we discuss the spiritual growth that comes from relinquishing control and embracing a purpose-driven life. We wrap up by emphasizing the importance of leadership, community feedback, and the ongoing journey of discovering our heavenly calling.

Ever wrestled with the expectations the world sets versus the ones etched in your faith? Brandie Thomas joins me for a riveting conversation that peels back the layers of the Proverbs 31 woman, challenging the stereotypes and revealing her as a paragon of balance and empowerment. We're tearing down the walls of misconception, showing that this biblical figure is not about unattainable perfection but a source of practical wisdom you can apply to both your business endeavors and personal growth. Brandie infuses the discussion with thirteen transformative principles derived from this scripture, promising to recalibrate your view on spirituality and success.
The myths surrounding the Proverbs 31 woman are as persistent as they are misleading, but our dialogue is set to dismantle them one by one. We address the falsehoods that insist on solo struggle, sidelining self-care, and pursuing an impossible ideal of flawlessness. Instead, we spotlight the essence of delegation, the necessity of self-rejuvenation, and the pursuit of God's specific calling for each of us. Brandie and I also delve into the positive relationship between faith and finance, advocating for community upliftment through resourceful abundance. The conversation doesn't stop there; it extends an invitation to build a robust network of support, so you can navigate life's multifaceted roles with poise and effectiveness.
As we wrap up, we leave you with a heartening insight into how the Proverbs 31 woman's virtues—wisdom, family strength, community service—paint a picture of an abundant, favored, and blessed life that does not shy away from wealth but embraces it in service to God and others. We explore how a deep reverence for God shapes her actions, reinforcing the idea that living in God's abundance isn't at odds with a faithful life. Brandie and I encourage you to foster a relationship with God that fills you to the brim, empowering you to serve from a place of fullness and walk in life with confidence, fearlessness, and dignity. Join us on this journey of discovery, where faith and practicality converge to guide you toward a life of entrepreneurial and personal fulfillment.

When Dalia Monterroso, the president of Chickenlandia, traded her Hollywood dreams for the rustic charm of backyard chickens. This week on Milk and Honey with Lemon, we crack open more than just eggs as we discuss the compelling shifts that occur when nurturing nature becomes a part of daily life.
The episode takes a turn toward the legal intricacies of urban chicken-keeping and the surprising impact of these animals on family dynamics and community bonds, particularly during the ongoing pandemic. Listen as Dalia and I shed light on the simplicity and joy that these backyard birds can bring into our lives, along with the broader implications for self-reliance and the environment.
Our discussion transitions into a thought-provoking reflection on food rights, government control, and the surprising journey from raising chickens to questioning the integrity of the food system. Through the lens of historical legal cases and present-day food politics, we explore how personal agriculture can symbolize a movement toward empowerment and resistance. As we close the episode, I extend an invitation to you, our listeners, to share the wisdom you've gleaned, to inspire others, and to partake in the transformative power of backyard chickens. Join us on this episode for an inspiring look at how these humble creatures can help us live more harmoniously within the abundance that surrounds us.

Imagine stepping into a narrative where emotional scars are not only acknowledged but also meticulously healed, right down to the cellular level. Chelsea Jubilee, Energize Health's visionary co-founder, joins us to share her empowering insights on transforming health and reconciling with trauma. Her revolutionary approach, which has profoundly affected my own life within a mere fortnight, promises a journey of renewal for our listeners. Chelsea's tale of overcoming personal adversity, including the ripples of divorce on her family, echoes a greater truth: the deep-seated influence of childhood experiences on our life's trajectory, and the dramatic healing that's available through nurturing our cells.
Our discussion with Chelsea Jubilee takes an extraordinary turn into the realm of how our bodies chronicle trauma, often manifesting as physical ailments we can't seem to shake off, even with the healthiest regimes. We examine the body's hormonal responses to stress, the protective weight gain that might ensue, and the startling notion that memories of past traumas could be lying dormant within us, waiting to be released through intentional hydration and healing. Chelsea's insights offer a profound understanding of the body's ability to recalibrate, and might just lead to unlocking parts of ourselves we never knew were imprisoned.
As we close this episode, the theme of forgiveness as a transformative force for health surfaces. We highlight the Mayo Clinic's innovative forgiveness protocol for cancer patients, underscoring the interplay between emotional and physical wellness. The conversation culminates with Chelsea's impassioned drive to share her healing methodology, her collaboration with medical professionals to offer natural alternatives, and the biological bases of anxiety and stress as they relate to trauma. Listeners are left with a sense of hope and the knowledge that there are natural and powerful ways to reclaim one's health, with Chelsea Jubilee lighting the path toward a revitalized, trauma-free existence.

When the world outside is crumbling, where do we find the strength to hold our loved ones close? Marsha Gray Hill, a poignant voice from the South, joins me on the Milk and Honey podcast to unfurl her journey through the terrain of loss and faith during the pandemic's darkest days. Her narrative is a mosaic of love, caretaking, and the indomitable spirit of her late mother—a beacon of Christian faith and service. As Marsha speaks, her words are a bridge connecting the profound grief of her personal loss with the universal quest for comfort and understanding in the aftermath of saying goodbye.
About Marsha:Marsha Gray was born and raised in Kinston, North Carolina, before
marrying her husband, Gregg, and becoming Mrs. Marsha Hill in
1976. Her adventurous life of raising five children alongside her
eldest son’s burgeoning professional tennis career included lots of
love and way too many drives down I-95 in a massive Southwind
camper.
Fifteen grandchildren later, Marsha is still a southern girl, splitting
her time between Georgia and Florida. Her family is her pride and
joy, and while caring for her mother throughout the COVID
pandemic, she experienced firsthand what it’s like to advocate for a
deteriorating parent.
This experience inspired her to become a voice for compassion and
human dignity. Snag Her Book Here: https://amzn.to/3SV1rAt Connect with Marsha: MarshaGrayHill.com

Money might not grow on trees, but could it sprout from a well-rooted faith? This episode peels back the layers of misconception surrounding Christianity and wealth, promising a fresh perspective that intertwines financial abundance with spiritual beliefs. We dance through scripture, from the regal riches of Solomon to abundance in Job, shedding light on how biblical figures navigated their bounties. No stranger to the skepticism that often shrouds the topic of money in Christian circles, I share the twists and turns of my own journey, ultimately uncovering a harmony between prosperity and piety. For those eager to embark on a similar path, I've curated a trove of resources designed to cultivate a money mindset that resonates with the teachings of the Bible.
Venture further with me into the heart of generosity, where the Proverbs 31 woman becomes our beacon, her entrepreneurial spirit and open-handedness painting a vivid picture of how wealth can indeed be wielded for good. The narrative takes a personal turn as I recount a pivotal moment of philanthropy that rippled through my community, sparking a discussion about the true calling of wealth within the Christian ethos. Together, we explore how affluence, when embraced with a heart aligned to God's purpose, can amplify our ability to support missions, empower pastors, and leave a legacy steeped in kindness. Join me for this transformative conversation, and bring along a friend who might also be seeking clarity on this journey of leadership and divine calling.

When Nichole Henson courageously stepped into the studio, she brought with her a story that is as heart-wrenching as it is hopeful. Her testimony of surviving childhood sexual abuse and the subsequent battle with faith and trust in God is nothing short of inspiring. This episode peels back the layers of pain and triumph, as Nichole recounts how she moved from a place of brokenness to one of healing and purpose. Her dedication to guiding others through their own journeys of freedom is a bright beacon for anyone who has faced the darkness of trauma.
Lemon Price joins the conversation with a vulnerability that mirrors Nichole's, sharing the personal battles with PTSD, clinical depression, and DID. The discussion takes an uplifting turn as we consider the idea that our most profound struggles can become our most effective tools for mentoring others. This episode is not just about overcoming the past; it's about the beauty of using our scars to help others navigate their paths to breakthroughs. It's about the redemptive work God does in our lives, turning our most significant challenges into our greatest victories.
As we close this powerful dialogue, the focus shifts to the transformative power of forgiveness and the importance of aligning with God's will. The narrative of David's rise to kingship is interwoven as a reminder of the patience required on our journey to fulfillment. We are reminded that the spiritual battles we face are not insurmountable when armed with faith, prayer, and the Word of God.

It's a narrative that celebrates women's ever-evolving journey, empowering them to surmount societal limitations and step into their broader sacred purpose.

Our discussion peels back layers of personal trials and societal constraints, revealing an unquenchable divine calling. The episode is teeming with stories that showcase how women, armed with faith and the Lord's strength, are pivotal in missionary work and evangelism, reaching out and serving in uniquely profound ways.
Closing this episode, we reflect on the nurturing trust women bring to outreach, such as a Kenyan woman's transformative influence on trafficked girls. With women forming the majority in church attendance, we ponder the loss incurred when their contributions are undervalued. Here, we underscore Women National Ministries' dedication to equipping women for effective gospel-sharing within their cultural milieus. So let's celebrate this shared path of leadership and divine calling, and remember, none of us have to walk this path alone. Join us again next Monday for more uplifting conversations and leadership insights.

As we navigate the winding roads of life, there are times when we get caught in a storm of shame. This episode provides a beacon of hope in that dark territory. Our guest, Tess Scott, sheds light on her journey from societal outcast to finding solace in Jesus. She shares the strategies she used to conquer the shame of multiple divorces and remarriages, allowing us to understand that we, too, can harness the power of God, even in our moments of brokenness and imperfection.
Let's face it, in the tug-of-war between God's truth and the enemy's lies, the battlefield is our mind. But what if we could tip the scales in our favor? Tess instructs us on the importance of filling our minds with God's word, the ultimate truth. She points to the discernment of biblical truths from toxic affirmations, fuelling our journey in overcoming the enemy's deceit. This journey is not a solitary one. Together, we speak God's truth, we claim his victory, and we deny the enemy a foothold in our lives.
Life, they say, is a journey best shared. Tess illustrates the significance of genuine relationships and the accountability they bring. She shows how these relationships are a safe space where we can eliminate shame and guilt, where we can be reminded that we are not defined by our past but by God's grace. Alongside these, Tess emphasizes the power of forgiveness and the healing it brings. It's time to stop navigating life on our own. We are all on this journey together, bound by a common thread of beautifully flawed lives seeking God's grace. Let's take this journey together, one footstep at a time.
Meet Tess:Tess Scott is a Christian speaker, an award-winning author, and a former black sheep turned “Jesus Girl.” With humor and vulnerability, this Canadian mom of 8 has lived through multiple divorces, married her husband twice, and raised a whole brood of boys which only goes to prove God is full of grace and mercy. Tess Scott is on a mission to help other women with messy stories to shed their shame by teaching them who they are in Christ so they can embrace the power of God in their imperfect lives. Her redeemed life screams of the prodigal daughter unmistakably chosen. And it’s this hope, this story of redemption, and God’s indisputable faithfulness that Tess brings to encourage women everywhere.

Ever wonder about the strength it takes to become a Proverbs 31 woman? The transformative power of faith has carved my path through skepticism, legalism, and life's most harrowing trials, leading me to a place of holistic healing. With the launch of Season 3, I, Lemon, am thrilled to share with you the intricate tapestry of my life's journey, from a dream that foretold my spiritual awakening to the adversities that tested my fortitude—experiences that many of you may find mirrors your own.
The path of transformation is rarely straightforward; it winds through mountains of doubt and valleys of discovery. This season unfolds with tales of my evolution from a life peppered with legalistic practices to one rich with heartfelt commitment, and how an invitation to a simple Bible study unlocked the door to an entirely new existence. My narrative takes a heartfelt turn when recounting the impact of my ex-husband's struggle with opioid addiction, highlighting the seismic shifts in my trust in pharmaceuticals and medical interventions—a trust once deeply ingrained by my upbringing amid medical professionals.
As we progress, I'll share the liberating transition to a lifestyle of fresh vegetables, raw milk, and natural remedies, and how these changes have nourished not just my body, but also my faith. Next week, we'll welcome my dear friend Tess to converse about navigating the murky waters of shame. It's a journey we can all relate to, and I'm excited to grow with you all, sharing the sorrows and joys, the setbacks and triumphs, as we march forward in our communal quest for spiritual fulfillment. Welcome to a new episode where we're steering the conversation towards an engaging topic - the role of women in leadership from a biblical standpoint. Based on my personal journey from living a worldly life to one deeply rooted in faith, I share my insights on the Southern Baptist Convention's stance on this matter and my own experiences of grappling with legalism. I unravel the importance of recognizing that our gifts and talents are not confined by our gender, and how embracing this belief can lead to a profound transformation.
In this spirit, we venture into the biblical narratives of Deborah and Esther, two iconic women who demonstrated formidable leadership. We explore Deborah's inspiring victory against the Canaanites, and how Esther leveraged her royal position to save her people. These stories serve as a reminder of the divine authority bestowed upon women. Wrapping up, I challenge you to contemplate what lessons you can glean from these biblical tales and how to harness your own divine authority to make a difference. Whether you're interested in understanding the biblical basis for leadership or seeking encouragement as a woman in a leading role, this episode is bound to stir your thoughts and inspire action. Let's dive in and navigate this fascinating journey together!

Boldly journeying back to the roots of the Christian faith, we spotlight the unsung heroines who laid the foundation stones of early Christianity. We promise you'll gain a profound understanding of these overlooked but pivotal women, such as Phoebe, Priscilla, and Lydia, whose roles as deaconesses and leaders were instrumental in establishing the early Christian communities.
Dive deeper as we unravel the powerful legacy of Mary Magdalene. Explore how a misguided narrative labeled her as a prostitute for 1500 years and challenge your understanding of her true role as the first witness to Jesus' resurrection. Through engaging theological dialogues with these trailblazing women, we reexamine our spiritual legacy and our call to live with the strength, resilience, and faith they personified. Expect a mind-opening episode that challenges us to shine the light that God has lit in each of us.

Conflict: it's inevitable, right? As a Christian leader, it's not about avoiding it, but handling it with grace, wisdom, and empathy. In this impactful episode of the Milk and Honey Podcast, I, your host Lemon Price, bust the myth of a conflict-free Christian leadership. Drawing on key biblical scriptures, I discuss conflict identification and how to tackle it when leading a team or a business. The episode will guide you on how to promote understanding and peace, not just as a peacemaker but as a harmonizer with God.
The conversation then transitions into the 'second thought theory', explaining why refraining from impulsive reactions could be a game-changer in your approach to conflict. I touch upon the Christ-like perspective of empathy, understanding and the importance of instant forgiveness. Wrapping up the discussion on conflict resolution, I urge you to seek divine guidance and wisdom and approach conflict with humility and empathy. Tune in for an enlightening conversation, and join me again on Wednesday as we shift our focus to mentorship and empowering the next generation of leaders. Remember, leadership isn't about being the loudest voice in the room, it's about promoting understanding, peace, and closeness to God.

Kate Gray went from the queen of the New Age movement to champion for Christ. Kate was one of the top 10 CEOs to watch according to Yahoo Finance all while doing things the world's way. Then God asked her to step into Marketplace Ministry.
Learn how Kate scaled her business the Kingdom way and how she pressed forward without knowing the outcome.
About Kate:
Kate is one of the most influential speakers on Marketing, Business and Personal Mastery in Australia. She embodies a unique blend of business and life mastery.
She has created multiple online 7 figure businesses via her organic marketing strategies and she was the founder and CEO of 7 Figure Impact Coach. In 2021 she was named by Yahoo Finance as one of the top 10 CEOs to watch.
In 2022 she closed her coaching businesses and launched Disrupt “the anti agency” Agency.
She experienced endless gas lighting as a customer in the agency space and couldn’t find any who had integrity to deliver what they promised. After spending a high 6 figure amount in them and getting no results she felt lost.
Then God called her to witness in the agency space by starting an agency that was the expectation and embodied kingdom values. So she did!
She has been blessed to speak on global online summits with Deepak Chopra, Lisa Nichols, Tony Robbins and many more legends.
In the past 17 years she has been lucky enough to learn alongside mentors such as Grant Cardone, Gary Vaynerchuk, Scott Oldford, Frank Kern and even an unconventional mentor, her dog, Sunny.

Throughout Titus 2, Scripture celebrates the importance of female leadership. In Verse 3-5 we read about how women should be "in behavior as becometh holiness... teachers of good things"
From Esther to Mary Magdalene and Priscilla, Deborah or Lydia - all these strong characters illustrate examples that go beyond just staying home with their families; they were trailblazing leaders who didn't let any convention stop them from making a difference in our world. Let us similarly encourage fellow sisters everywhere to step confidently into their potential!
