Hell, not the most popular topic of conversation, but something Jesus talked about quite a lot. How should we view it, and how can we catch God's heart in this? Something to be scared about, or our greatest motive to see the lost get saved?
When is Jesus coming back? We don't know, only the Father knows. But it's actually more important what we do before Jesus comes back. Are we sleeping, and letting Him come like a thief in the night? Or are we actively awaiting Him, guarding ourselves to be ready for when He comes?!
"The Father heart of God is not a quality within Him, it's not something He does well. Father is what He is, and every other attribute, excellency and glory stems forth from Him being a Father."
This week we start a New series looking at the end times, Week 1 asks are these the last times and looks at the signs Jesus gave of when he would come again... we do not know the hour but these signs show us the urgency of preaching the gospel and standing firm in our faith.
The stone is rolled away! Jesus has risen from the dead, and in His resurrection we are resurrected as well, not only for this life, but for eternity! But what does this new life look like? Do we put the God we follow in a box? Or do we let Him have free reign over us?
Caiaphas and Nicodemus, what a difference! Both powerful men, but one didn't t let his position and his tradition prohibit him from wanting to know Jesus, while the other chose the easy route, didn't want to know Him and even ended up convicting Him.

To change our minds and make different choices. Our personal pursuance of a healthy mind has an impact on the Body of Christ and how we can become of One Mind despite our differences. So let's look at how we apply the four "R's" to a healthy mind to move together as One in Him.
Every Church must be known as a House of Prayer (Matthew 21: 13). There is a time to pray alone, and other times we are called to come together and be ONE in prayer. In 1 Timothy 4:14, Paul instructs Timothy not to neglect his gift. He has given us both natural and supernatural gifts to be used for His glory. But it's when we know the gift giver that we value the gift all the more.

and family is a wonderful picture of our God loves and cares for his children.
But society believes it can do better and has take a spraycan to the masterpiece that is Marriage and the family. But in the end it’s just vandalism.

In life we can find that our time and energies can get swallowed up in the busyness of life. Before you know, we have filled our life with Netflix and Facebook, hobbies and projects but have neglected the things that really matter. Jesus said "seek first the Kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you".
Over the next 6 months, we want to look at how we can intentionally put God first in our lives again starting with our First Love!

The plan went to the wall as the spirit moved in power... the preach looks at the manifest presence of God at work in us as we get in to the secret place and move into the Holy Space! God has giving us everything we need to live a holy life but we must play our part by remaining faithful to our calling, being gentle with our words and life to win people to Jesus and controlling self by crucifying our old nature to the cross! As Spirit led and filled Christians, we desire everyday to walk by the Spirit but something keeps tripping us up or even worse, robbing us of our faith walk! This is not an external force, but the internal battle between the old nature and the new spirit nature we are becoming. This week we look at this battle, and see what we must do to put to death the old nature completely!
When Usain Bolt and the Jamaican relay team won the gold medal in the London olympics in 2012, it wasn't crossing the line that made them winners it was that they successfully passed on the baton! Imagine they crossed the line the fastest but without the baton. In the Christian faith our desire and purpose is to pass on the baton of faith to the next generation. In this message Thabani clearly lays out the importance and the steps to ensure as individuals and as a church we are running strong but also passing on the baton to an upcoming generation and to our church family.
Timothy was a faithful spiritual son to Paul. He said of Timothy, 'I have no one like him'. We all want people like that in our lives but rather than searching for them why don't we become such people. In this message Jonathan teaches us how yo be faithful like Timothy, a man who lived like Jesus.
God wants us to be Generous! This week we look at what it means to reflect Gods generosity and become generous ourselves using the bible Character Barnabas to explore what it means to be Generous with our finances, our gifts and talents, and our time! Listen to hear how when Barnabas passed the Treasure Generosity test it opened up his destiny in the church... preacher, teacher, miracle worker, evangelist, prophet and Apostle!!!
Jonah is a picture of the church! a message tase been given by God to take to the nations, but the church of today has gone in the opposite direction and is fast asleep in the midst of the storms of this life! The world has questions... but the church is asleep. Therefore the world has thrown the church out of the boat as it has become irrelevant and relic. But Jonah is also a picture of us as individuals hiding our light under a bowl and running away! God calls us to do the things we don't always want to do, to repent of our running away and return to the things we once did at first!
A Life boat has one purpose! its not a cruise ship, a freighter or a pleasure cruiser it exists to rescue the lost! The church has a purpose and when all the church family are Have that one purpose the church will grow and become healthy... learn what the ONE purpose of the church is and how we grow healthy churches around the ONE purpose.
We will all experience an eternal existence, but the quality of that existence is what matters.
In this series we are looking at people who encountered Jesus and from that encounter we can see What would Jesus say to.... and this week we look at a WORKER, through an encounter with the disciples on a boat engaged on their day to day work and they were never the same again!

As a prelude to the resurrection Jesus bring Lazarus back to life calling him out of a tomb that had held him for 4 days. This miracle was a the last straw for the religious elite as they now saw Jesus as the number one threat to the Nation's future. Today we want to look at how the resurrection of Lazarus has an impact on our lives today as we realise we too are spiritual dead without Christ, that He calls us be name and that we have to respond to His call and finally like Lazarus need to remove all the burial clothes that we still card from our old life. A transformation message that introduces Jesus as The resurrection and the life for us today.
God commands us to be Holy, but how do we do that in a sinful and broken world where we constanly face sin, temptation and our old nature every day. The answer is that God gives us the power to overcome evil! the answer is Grace... Grace is the fuel needed to get us living the christian life but we need to keep short accounts with God on the sin we encounter every day. This message will give us many keys to living a Holy Life for God.
Above loving ourselves and others, we are called primarily to love God with all we are.
