According to DJ Pierre, when Phuture first created their pivotal Acid Tracks, Pierre was shocked that people associated the track with drugs. This led to the creation of Your Only Friend on the b-side of the release – which was a strong warning against cocaine usage. Fast forward to today, Johnescu has a cautionary message of his own with Hooked. This is an old skool minimal / deep tech roller that just keeps going with a timeless warning. Just imagine Mr. Mackey saying, Drugs are bad. You shouldnt do drugs, Mkay?
Here comes Space Native with another out-from-the-deepest-reaches track. Both time and space have been redefined by this bouncing ballad of epic-ness. If youre looking for an infectious organic groove, try this one on for size. With distant elements of 60s jazz and haunting stabs, this house track is sure to please.
Surrender to Me is a return to a classic late 90s progressive house sound. Were talking big booming kicks, gale force baselines, and sultry vocals. This track has it all and is coming at you like a steamroller. Masaharu has never disappointed us before and this just takes our trust in him to an eleven. Dont miss out on this blood pumping, floor filling, earthquake of a track.
This is the MK837 veteran team up that absolutely needed to have happened years ago. MK837 label boss, Dave Richards, joined musical forces with J Lauda after several years to bring you this progressive house masterpiece. And if that werent enough, when Deep Dementure first heard the track, he demanded to get in on the remix and what a remix it is. With these forces combined, you can be sure that The Path is the correct way forward. Do not pass this one up. Though less traveled, it will lead to a mind-blowing journey.
Back to Ireland again for another tech house track from the magical Peter Lombos. This time he’s coming at us with bit of a Latin tech vibe and it’s blazing hawt. Get your groove on and pack the dancefloors. Peter’s not going to let you down with this one.
Let’s travel once again to Portugal where we can check in with Marcio aka DJ Bat. His latest creation is the experimental Perfect Morning. From the very beginning, you can tell this one is different. We’ve been slacking off a bit on our techno of late and this was hands down a track that we didn’t want to skip. This is one of those great tracks that can be slipped into melodic house, tech house and or even some minimal / deep tech sets either to shake things up or to set new things off. Portugal is the place to be for the latest from Marcio aka DJ Bat. This Day is Monday brings you two killer techno/melodic techno tracks to keep the dancefloors moving and grooving. This Is Monday leans more into the melodic while Domina leans more into the percussive. Both know how to bring the fire for you. Choose your weapon carefully. We wouldn’t want you to get burned.
Fader is the latest from label favorite Deep Dementure. Join him on this soulful and spacey ride through time and space. Haunting pads and vocals captivate your attention while the intricate percussion pulls you forward – fading your past away. All that matters now is the future.
Summer crowds and vibes all the way with this maximum overdrive track from Bogard. It’s been some time since we’ve heard from him, but he’s only honed his skills more and more. Francisco Samuel is back with us on MK837 once again and for that we are beyond grateful. This time, he’s bringing some righteous heat with Gratitude. A lot’s been happening in his life since we last checked in with him. He’s had some killer releases on Grind City Recordings, Club Sessions, RH2 and more. He’s shifted his sound a bit way from his usual old skool influenced tech house vibes to a deeper more jackin vibe recently and it seems to be paying off nicely. All we can say is that he’s a man on the move and talent on tap for year. Don’t miss this one.
More minimal / deep tech is on its way with this new one from Space Native. The emphasis here is on the deep tech. This spacey, minimal track hits hard and will keep the churn going on dancefloors everywhere. Space Native turns the heat up more with his DC10 Terrance Techno Mix. This is definitely not a release to miss.
Denats is on a roll this year both on MK837 and several other labels. We’re always glad to have new music from him and this release is no exception! This two track wonder infuses classic samples, disco, big band and of course jackin house into a symphony of ethereal bliss. Just try to being depressed when it hits that massive sound system! No, please don’t waste your time doing that. You know you’re gonna smile.
Johnescu returns to MK837! His latest track, By My Side, comes with massive minimal / deep tech vibes that should not be ignored. The base is low and bouncy. The organ is stabby. The vocals… dreamy. You’re going to want this one… by your side.
Samuel Zamora returns to MK837 with a barnstormer of a track. This is a heavily tech influenced tech house track. It harkens back to our earlier days of the label when a few of our artists incorporated a bit of the chip tunes sound. This is another one of our releases that’s simply… unique. This one is for those packed floors when you need something different to change the vibe. Don’t miss out on “Mi Esperanza”.
Craver is a new artist for us, but he already gets us. Heartbeat is a deep, minimalist house track with simple, but haunting vocals. You can’t help but to be attracted to it. It’s a great bridge or build track, but it truly is one that just grips your mind, body, and soul and propels you into the groove. Give this one a chance and you’ll understand.
It’s been a while, but we’ve finally have some new music from Sampler. Starting with the electro infused “Celeste”, the dancefloor is transported back in time and simultaneous pushed into the future with the retro groover. Next up is “When the Clouds are Grey”, a melodic techno piece which embraces the vibes of early artist like Moby and Octave One. The EP ends with “Strike”. It’s an experimental techno track the seethes dark and quirky sounds. This is the perfect release for someone looking for something a bit different for their sets.
Is this some of the deepest bass you’ve heard in a while? We’re willing to bet that it might be. This bass is so deep it’s throbbing like this track just got spanked. Layered over this is a killer beat and vocal chops that simply won’t stop. This is a peak time mover that you’re going to want to have in your arsenal immediately. This week we’re flying to the other side of the globe to catch up with Saku Newmoon. In 2023, he released a series of deep house tracks with us. In 2024, he’s going deeper and getting techie with us as well. Kaikou is a spacey minimal / deep tech track filled with haunting atmosphere and draws the listener deeper into the dancefloor. It’s hypnotic and dangerous. It wants to reach out and take hold. The question is… will you let it?
Space Native is back with a fresh take on Los Hermanos Vagos’ French Connection. Leaning more on the melodic house side of melodic house & techno, Space Native’s In My Head Remix drops in a new vocal and takes things deeper than before. Missing this remix would be a mistake, especially if you missed the original a few weeks ago.
There are plenty of great choices for jackin house, but if you want weird and otherworldly jackin house, you need Denats. Nothing is ever normal with him, but everything is fantastically jackin. “Out of This World” freaks and tweaks its vocal to Looney Tunes levels of comedy while still grooving harder than a shark on a water slide. The B-side, “I Don’t Sample” is a genius track that clearly uses sampling in a way that truly makes you wonder if doesn’t understand the meaning of the word. In all, this two track EP is a must have regardless of how much you love jackin house, or Denats.
Joe Rowe returns to MK837 after a smash hit on Farris Wheel Recordings. The Sound of Nothingness is a melodic techno dream. Its very nature is hypnotic, warm and draws you deeper into the fray. Over the years, Joe has developed a knack for this kind of track, and it doesn’t get much better than this. Be sure to add this one to your crate today.
We’re welcoming Matke / Minitronik to MK837 this week with his debut release “Inhale.” With prior releases on Microgarden, THANQ, Happy Days Records and more, Matke / Minitronik will bring some absolute banging minimal / deep tech to the label. In fact, “Inhale” is very reminiscent of one of our favorite labels, Bedrock Records. “Inhale” was made for the underground. It’s raw, hypnotic, and constantly evolving. It’s everything you could want from minimal / deep tech and more. Don’t miss your opportunity to check this out.
MK837’s label boss, Dave Richards, returns from the mountain top of the synths and DAWs with six minutes and forty-one seconds of progressive bliss with “You Are.” Heavily laden with toms and a deep and deeply saturated baseline, this track’s upper end comes complete with airy pads, vocals, and rhythmic stabs. You’ll definitely want to take this one for a spin.
This week we’re traveling to Italy for some more drum laden Latin tech house. This is a peak time track with a massive looped vocal and multiple builds. Built for the mainstage, but strong enough for the underground, Esse. delivers a winner in “Into the Bass.”

The first is a massive roller with a rocking vocal loop. The second takes on much more of an upbeat Latin tech vibe. Noise88 is returns with another blistering progressive house track. It’s also one of those that can step into multiple genres including progressive trance and melodic house. Mark has a new Prime Cut for you today! This time we’ll be serving up hanger steak along sides of deep, progressive and tech house, electro and of course techno. We’re also traveling the world with artists from Portugal, Japan, UK, Sweden, Bosnia and of course the US. Remember, hanger steak requires high heat to grill properly and we’re providing plenty of fuel for the fire right here with Mark’s Prime Cuts.
We’re traveling back up to NYC again to catch up with the talented JC Morales, co-owner of Minimal Nest Records. His latest release with us is Annex – a dreamy and ever evolving minimal / deep tech groover.
On remix duty, we’ve reached out to Mineground (Club Session / Low Groove Records / Datagroove Music) to lend his special touch. Adding a bouncier baseline, he takes Annex to whole new levels of minimal and deep.
Beyond that, fellow Minimal Nest Records artist Leon the Lover has provided his massive talent to this release. Leon brings a more up-tempo vibe to the release and re-emphasizes the dreamy aspect of the original.
The release ends with a remix from MK837 regular, Joe Rowe. Joe brings a darker, edgier tone to Annex that commands attention. Don’t stand in this one’s way.
Returning to MK837 after having a few releases on Mimetic, Massive Sounds, and Minimal Nest, Jay Ess is ready to with Higher. This is a minimal / deep tech masterpiece with deep rolling bass and steady percussion that just makes you want to take over the dancefloor. A quirky synth lead drives everything home and in comes the preacher.
We’ve got two stellar remixes waiting for you as well. First is Pirdo’s. For this one, Pirdo stripes the track down to the raw percussion, echoey stabs and bass. Next up is Jay Ess’ longtime collaborator, JC Morales. JC slows things down just a wee bit and drops in traces of acid. This is the deep groove with the heat to melt everyone on the dancefloor. If you can only grab one mix, it’s gotta be JC’s, but don’t stop there as each mix has something unique to offer.
We’re continuing to pass on Mark’s recommendations for both meats and beats this month with Mark’s Prime Cuts: 02 | Tomahawk. This time around, not only do we have a tasty steak recommendation that comes with its own handle, but 5 tasty tracks from around the globe including Australia, Japan, Mexico and the United Kingdom. For our second featured artist of 2023, we’re offering up a tasty treat from Noise88 who comes in with a driving, dark, progressive house tune called Waves. Supporting the release, we have label veterans Miguel Montez and Voben. Montez accents his remix with a massive rolling baseline on the back half that just can’t be ignored. Voben brings in their own series of melodic elements that take Waves in a totally new direction. There you have it, three solid mixes for a solid track.
Few artists have been with us as long as Deep Dementure has. Over the years, he’s shown a dedication to the craft of house music. Over the years he’s released with eight labels beside MK837 including King Street Sounds, Nu Soul, Krafted and Canaan Digital. He’s even remixed Eddie Amador, twice.
This release is a result of all that experience. It’s carefully groomed and cultivated organic house. Not one single creature was harmed or killed in its production. There are no impurities that will make you sick decades from now. It’s 100%%… pure. Pure organic house.
Of course, the beats… they’re pretty abnormal. Watch out for them. Empty dancefloors are likely to spontaneously fill when you drop any of these three tracks. They’re true works of art, but they need to be regulated by the UN’s security council. This time, France, UK, USA, Russia, and China won’t be able to veto any objections. These beats are coming for you.
We’re starting a new year with a new series. Most of you may not realize it, but our A&R work is done by Mark. Mark is our ever-faithful winged lion mascot and well… he has impeccable taste. He’s also recently opened his own butcher shop and well… things are really starting to take off there. In celebration of this, we’re letting Mark put together some of his tastiest cuts for the label as Mark’s Prime Cuts. There’s not going to be any fillers in this one kid, so strap on a bib, pull up to the table, grab a sharp knife and cut right into these tasty tracks!

2022 has finally come to an end. It’s been an amazing year. The festivals and clubs are roaring back as is the music. Through the pandemic, MK837 never stopped the music.
