As I stand by lights that twinkle green,
I worry if they’ll make it all right

Down memory’s lanes they share a walk,
Sharing their laughter, hopes, and dreams.
Always shall I remember these scenes,
Because this is what Christmas means.
TorpedoesBasically a torpedo is a Sloppy Joe served in a sub/hogie roll instead of a hamburger bun. If you want a close enough approximation, just use Manwich Thick & Chunky and the proper roll. But if you want it the way Joe's mother used to make it, try this recipie:
- 1 pounds ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
- 1 red bell pepper (chopped)
- 4 small onions (chopped)
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 3/4 cup water (i.e. just use the empty tomato paste can)
Brown the beef. Add everything else and simmer. Some people might use a crockpot.
Serve on a sub/hogie roll.
I heard that most people add crushed red pepper flakes, but those people didn't live in mom's house.
