The Traveling Pony Podcast is a branch of the Traveling Pony Blog with a focus on discussing topics of importance in the equine industry and interviewing up-coming riders and trainers, as well as a variety of people in the equine industry. It's a place for your voice to be heard, no matter who you are and what position you may be in.
One of the most important questions to ask yourself when riding your horse is are you having an open conversation or having a one-sided argument? Oftentimes, people set their horses up for failure by automatically starting an argument with them, which leads to behavioral and training issues. When in doubt, try to listen to your horse and instead of taking the defensive side.
