This channel is dedicated to the men and women who serve our communities as First Responders. Beyond The Sirens is First Responder owned and operated channel and movement. This page honors all those who came before us and to all those who continue to serve our communities across the country. We intend to bring you content such as interviews with our local hero’s, discuss important topics, and create content aimed toward showing the public just what it is to be, a First Responder.
The national average for financial compensation, per the BLS, for our EMTs, is not acceptable for what is being asked of them. They are being stretched to thin with long hours, heavy involvement in extreme traumatic situations, with very little sleep. Things need to change in order to prevent burnout, turnover, and quality of mental health.
