The prodigal son returned home, after spending all of his inheritance, in hopes his father would take him in as a servant. He was instead greeted by his father running to him, kissing him, and embracing him as a son. Our Father in Heaven will come running to us if make a move towards Him, and we will enjoy all the privileges of being His child.
God used Shamgar and his oxgoad to kill 600 Philistines and establish a period of peace for Israel. God does not need us to be strong in a worldly sense, but to have faith in Him. His strength is displayed through our weakness.

God brought the Israelites out of Egypt, through the Red Sea, and promised them protection and healing from the diseases which afflicted the Egyptians. He turned bitter waters sweet so they would not thirst in the desert. God cared for and healed the Children of Isreal, and He will do the same for us - offering our souls living water and healing from this fallen world.
