His Job while he served for 23 years was Tactical Air Control Party or TACP . He also spend 2.5 year in the space force but the majority of his time in Air Force Special Operations Command. Today's after-action report is on the critical nature of building Personal Relationships. For the military, this is a sink-or-swim event. You constantly moved to new locations with new coworkers in new environments and building personal relationships is critical to military survival. You've probably heard the saying it's not what you know it's who you know. As humans on this planet, we know this is important. However, the landscape of relationship building is significantly changing. The issue we face today can be generation gaps in communication styles. I'm still trying to figure out how to effectively connect on Linkedin, Instagram, and Facebook—avoiding Voyer syndrome online….my personal favorite. How do you put yourself out there and engage? Just view other people's posts but never share. Awkward face-to-face communication I wouldn't call this a lost art but it's either evolving or devolving. Generally how comfortable people have become with being distant from one another…. . I firmly believe we crave personal connections with other people.
