Gangplank Report is unique in that it provides both the insider and Bravo super fan perspectives from its co-hosts Chef Adrienne Gang (Below Deck Season 1 Chief Stew) and Jen Bennington (super fan, podcaster, and blogger.) Recap episodes air weekly on Wednesdays. Super Fan episodes air on Thursdays.
Sometimes life presents you with tough choices and Adrienne and Jen are having to make one. There aren't enough words to describe the gratitude the ladies have for everyone who has been a part of the Gangplank community. Goodbyes are hard (unless we're talking about Camille or Alissa) so Adrienne and Jen prefer to say So Long For Now.

The question of the week...what did Fraser do to warrant the venom and the title of worst chief stew ever? Has Captain Sandy already forgotten she just filmed with Natasha? Kathy and Jen try to unearth the logic Captain Sandy is using to come to her conclusions. The ladies also discuss what might be behind Captain Sandy having Ross as a witness with Alissa instead of Fraser.
Anyone who thought the drama left the boat when Camille did was way off base. Somehow despite there still being a crew member of questionable abilities on board, Fraser is the one who winds up in Captain Sandy's crosshairs. Jen is feeling shades of Med season five and Kathy thinks Captain Sandy has some valid points, but can't get behind her delivery. One thing the ladies completely agree on is that Hayley and Tyler are great, and we need to see more of them.
On the OG With KG there's a new face to talk about, and an old one that rears her head. Also, this week Alissa wasn't doing herself any favors and Ross was messier than ever.
Then on the Below Deck Adventure recap, Adrienne and Jen break down the finale episode and who they'd like to see return to our screens if the series is renewed.
We weren't punked after all! Camille is finally gone, but she did not go quietly. There were some boss moves made by Captain Sandy, and a couple that gave us shades of yore, but none that deserved the tweets directed at her Monday night in Jen's opinion.
Bad behavior continues on Mercury, and it gets so far out of hand that Captain Kerry has to play Kindergarten Cap in the galley to keep the ladies playing nice. It worked for one meal, but when the new guests choose fashion over promptness, Jess spirals again. Will the season finale be chef-less?
On Below Deck OG this week, the bell is finally tolling, but they couldn't just let it end without another to be continued. Kathy and Jen have opposing views on Fraser, but unlike Camille and Alyssa, the ladies can keep it civil.
At about 22 minutes in Adrienne and Jen break down the breakdowns on this charter from Faye and Jess, and scratch their heads in unison over what kind of power Seth's new job title really gives him.
First up we have The OG With KG with the inimitable Kathy Gilmour. She's created a new game everyone can play along at home, at least as long as Camille is still part of the crew. Then at about the 15:55 mark, Jen is joined this week by Super Fan Will who is filling in for Adrienne. Will helps Jen suss out the radio drama with Nathan as well as the interior drama. And last but not least, Will shares some of the stories readers can find in his upcoming book Sails Speak Louder Than Words.
First up, our favorite comedian Kathy Gilmour finds the funny in jellyfish stings and shares more of her hilarious takes on Below Deck OG S10 Ep6. Then at about the 13 minute mark, Adrienne and Jen lend their views on Seth's bold move to overthrow Lewis, as well as their thoughts on some of the other relationships in conflict on the Mercury.
This Gangplank Report combines the Goodbye Captain Lee, Hello Captain Sandy episode that aired before Christmas with this week's Below Deck Adventure airing. As always, the lovely Kathy Gilmour gives her hysterical takes on OG, including the whiplash the crew must be feeling when it comes to captaining styles. Then Adrienne and Jen break down what they both agree is their favorite episode of Adventure so far this season.

Most of us saw the writing on the wall for Kyle's fate on the very first episode, but it finally manifested into being NBO'd this week. Couldn't happen to a more deserving dude, as far as Adrienne and Jen are concerned. They aren't alone, as Adrienne testifies to after witnessing the crowd's reaction at the watch party at Paddy Mac's. The ladies try to suss out Lewis' motivation behind his hope for Kyle to be able to stay, and they discuss which Bravoleb the Twitterverse is comparing Kasie to.
We have made it to the end, y'all! Well, technically, not all of us have made it. Adrienne is on charter with sketchy wi-fi, so she missed the finale. She may have manifested that a la The Secret though, because the show has been dragging and it has taken forever to get here. Jen ties the bow on the bow solo with a quick recap, a few thoughts, and a heads up on where you can see Adrienne and Captain Kerry from Adventure in person on Tuesday, November 15th. Thank you for sticking with us through another season of Med!
The Adventure continues! As does Kyle's attitude toward Nathan, and for good measure he throws in some unwanted flirtation Kasie's way. We get to witness the guests go caving and it brings a whole new feel to the BD franchise. Another plus comes via Captain Kerry and a supportive conversation he has that draws a hard line when it comes to his crew being made to feel uncomfortable. This show keeps getting better and better!
It's the penultimate episode of this season of Below Deck Med. We're introduced to the last set of charter guests, a new stew, and there's even sunken treasure involved. Plus Dave is on the giving and receiving ends of the Crepes of Wrath.

We're in the home stretch, but the end of the season seems like the long hallway leading to the exit in a horror movie that keeps getting farther and farther away. On this episode Kyle's fall led Tash to a decision that surprised Jen, but not Adrienne. The guests finally get off the dock only to return to it by water taxi a few hours later. Is that the reason for the low end tip or were the fish dishes Dave's first miss? We also fill you in on what's to come for Gangplank over the next few weeks.
Home is stuck at dock and the timing couldn't be worse, because these charter guests know their yachts and love watersports. Pressure is on the interior to ensure a good tip, but tension is high between Dave and Tash. Add Kyle taking a Humpty Dumpty down the galley stairs, and things aren't looking like they'll end on a high note.

The guests may be skeevy, but Dumbo can tip at least. Kyle does the right thing in our eyes, but not Natasha's after his tiff with Nat. But is it only because Sandy caught his trash talking? Reid also ends up having to apologize, but the ladies felt it was more sincere. Adrienne and Jen also discuss if they think Nat is leading Storm on, or if he knows the game and is playing it to his favor.
This episode brings up so many questions. Can you break up when you were never really a couple? Who knew so many people would be sad to see Jason leave? And probably the biggest question on Adrienne and Jen's minds: How can two people with no guests to serve be unable to clean one stateroom in the time it takes to climb a small mountain?
The ladies give their thoughts on these questions, and Adrienne answers some listener questions from John in New Jersey and Princess Liane.

What better way to kick off the spookiest month of the year than with a little mystery? This week's Super Fan is Korina Moss, author of The Cheese Shop Mysteries series. Her most recent book "Gone For Gouda" just released and Jen devoured it like it was one of the protagonist's delectable cheese dishes. We discuss what goes into creating a cozy mystery, find out her thoughts on Below Deck, and then play a little game of combining the two worlds.

Pardon the brevity of this recap, but Adrienne was in the middle of prepping for the arrival of Hurricane Ian, and every minute counted. Welcome to MARTYRDOME! Two crew members enter, one yachtie leaves...maybe. Natasha and Jason battle it out for who's the bigger martyr on M/Y Home. It's another cliffhanger episode, and while it may not be drama-filled, the ladies at least have some new topics to discuss. Like whether Storm's impromptu watch re-gifting is as intimidating as Natalya makes it out to be. Plus the gals answer listener questions from Georgie in the UK and Elizabeth!
This week's Super Fan Rob has been a loyal friend to Gangplank since his first appearance. Every week he and Jen break down the show in DMs, and he's given some interesting perspectives that have helped change Jen's mind on a few things. Work ethic seems to be slacking in the case of several crew members. Maybe it's mid-season malaise, but there's no excuse for leaving the heavy lifting for one crew member. Captain Sandy is seeing it and making it clear that she does. Somehow that isn't enough incentive to get Natasha and Kyle to follow through. Will a trip to the bridge change Tash's tune, or will she continue to pretend it's much ado about nothing?
It has been pure joy meeting new fans of Below Deck through the podcast, but there's something special about finally getting to talk with someone who you've been tweeting with for years. That's the case with this week's Super Fan Irene. She's been tweeting with the ladies for a while and joining in on live tweets, but now Adrienne and Jen have the chance to actually talk with her, and she did not disappoint. After the midseason trailer the ladies were expecting a little more pizazz. Unfortunately it was a whole lot of filler. But there are nuggets of treasure buried neath the sea that Adrienne helped Jen comprehend. How much water is too much water to provision when you're floating on water? Who picks where guests picnic? And what's to be done when a Chief can't read the room? That one's easy...you cringe mightily.

Courtney is crushing it, which makes the women wonder if she's a newer, less toxic version of Malia. And lastly, Jen's trying to decide if Tash is actively or merely passively trying to perform chef sabotage.
A Date With Dateline's Kimberly is on a date with Gangplank this week! We don't think it qualifies as cheating though, since her co-host Katie knows about it. Either way, we're just happy to have her step out of her true crime world and join our yachting one for a chat. First messages aren't getting through when Storm is calling out distances. Next Kyle and Natalya have a tiff over a communication breakdown. Then on the night out, Storm and Natalya's signals get crossed and we go from cute date to a bit irate. And lastly, the ladies can't figure out the signals between Dave and Natasha whatsoever. The only thing that was clear is that M/Y Home needs better reception.
Adrienne had a last minute work event, so instead of leaving you hanging with no Super Fan episode, we're flashing back to a year ago. We had a chance then to speak with one of our favorite families ever on Below Deck...the Orbisons. Technically, we saw the crib from their trip in one of Courtney's flashbacks this week, so the timing fits pretty well. We'll be back next week with the S7 Ep7 recap.
Courtney is back, y'all! Just in time to bring a little twerk to the season. On the opposite end of the joy spectrum, we witness Natasha suddenly become capable of finding time to text as long as it's with her ex and not Dave. Her absences leave Kyle serving while in pain, Nat decorating her butt off, and even Coco having to trade in her new deck duds to help on the interior. We have another cliffhanger too. Is Storm going to lose his new rank before it goes from provisional to permanent?
This past weekend Gangplank celebrated hitting the 100,000 listens mark and there was no better Super Fan to have this week than Bob B, who has supported us from the very beginning. He has great insights into the show, a quick sense of humor, and the ladies always look forward to tweetfests with him during and after the live tweets. He also asked some great questions this week of Adrienne that Jen not only didn't know the answer to, but hadn't even thought of. A total rock star, and not just because of his band.

Call us fickle, but we're already pretty much over Dave and Natasha and are setting our entertainment hopes on Natalya and Storm. Captain Sandy's "I don't hit things," turned into, "That can never happen again." But did you notice what we didn't see and should have according to the trailer? What we do see that we should, is the dismissal of Raygan on the horizon. Will she get one last chance or is Sandy truly done?
Lt. Col. (ret.) Buzz Patterson is used to the spotlight with over 20 years as an Air Force Pilot and his stint in The White House as the carrier of the nuclear football. On this episode he gets to share it with his stunning bride of 25 years Nichole, who gets our Gangplank medal for bringing him into the Below Deck fold. We discuss cast and Captain favorites and find out if the former flight crew duo would trade in their wings for a life ring and a job at sea!
Bravo titled this episode "A Whole Yacht of Scandal," but Adrienne and Jen have searched all over and can't find it. Maybe it was opposite day? Or perhaps a clever marketing ploy to make a filler episode seem more interesting? The ladies discuss the "aftermath" of Dave's confession and why there's only bun with this nothing burger storyline. They also deep dive into Raygan's ability to lower a bar that was already on the floor. If they don't talk about it now, they might not have a chance in the future the way things are looking. Tick tock.

Raygan is still doing whatever it is she does when she's supposed to be bosun-ing, but Storm is showing he can pick up her slack amidst her many absences. The biggest tip in Below Deck history is leaving us a bit gobsmacked, and we're not talking about Kyle's prank.

It's Season 2 of Gangplank and Season 7 of Below Deck Mediterranean, Gang! We're welcoming M/Y Home to the family of Below Deck ships and she's a futuristic looking hybrid ship that screams luxury. Don't go thinking things will be smooth sailing though. You're faithful viewers and listeners and you know that wouldn't make for much of a show. We were considering titling this, "The one where Ashley didn't show, and Marcos had to go," but that would've made for a wicked long link name. Call it a happy coincidence or kismet, but we're capping off this season of Sailing on the anniversary of the day Gangplank officially began one year ago. Much like there could be no reunion without a crew, there'd be no podcast without you. We are grateful for the support over the last 12 months, and are very much looking forward to what the Med has in store for all of us beginning July 11th! See you then!
This week's Super Fan Sandy Nelson Malone is a Jane of all trades. She was a wedding planner for 11 years, did a reality show on TLC called Wedding Island, and was a writer for Monsters and Critics and covered Below Deck at the very beginning of the series. Needless to say she has some input on the wedding we've all been watching for the past two episodes. She even has a little issue with something Jen and Roseann did on last week's recap. While we could probably stock a year's worth of guests for a Misled By Bravo podcast, in this case we're just discussing their Gaisy tease in their title. "All Roads Lead to Gaisy" was let down for folks who want the duo to become a couple, but it did have some amazing and heartfelt moments. Adrienne and Jen are sad to see it come to an end, but are looking forward to what closure and resolution might occur at the reunion next week. The ladies are also excited that the Med trailer dropped and discuss the release date and more.
We're taking you back to the very beginning...OG Below Deck S1. This week's Gangplank guest is Dr. Steve G. Jones, who has the honor of being the first full charter guest, the first guest to tip, and the first person to ever try to hypnotize Adrienne. The Clinical Hypnotherapist has a lot of tea from the early days, including the fib production told that set the tipping standard we've come to know. This wasn't his first rodeo with Bravo either. With Adrienne hard at work in the Caribbean, Jen is lucky enough to be joined by former Super Fan Roseann. The two break down the penultimate episode, from the cake struggles to Scarlett's shutdown of Gary's advances, and culminating in the "I do's" on an overcrowded island. There's only one more episode left this season, so get caught up before the reunion!
You don't have to leave us a glowing five star review to be a Super Fan, but it certainly doesn't hurt your chances! This week's fan Brooke did exactly that and then contacted us after we gave her a "Thank You" shout out on the pod. Cut to now and we're finding out how she got into Below Deck, how she discovered our podcast, and all of her feelings on the different franchises...especially Below Deck Sailing.
Show of hands....who wants the Hurricane game included in every episode? Adrienne and Jen wouldn't mind it, especially if some of the crew is on the receiving end. These guests would rank lowest on the list of who deserves a slap this season. They did Canada and Glenn proud with their good natures and fun-loving spirits. Somehow, even with the weight of grief and miscommunication weighing him down, Marcos was able to pull out a miracle and shine again. Will the gluten free multi-tiered wedding cake for the guests next week be his final straw? We doubt it, but can't wait to see how it plays out.
With her third Super Fan visit, Jen's daughter Chef Kelsey Jade has officially become to Gangplank what Tom Hanks is to SNL. They'll explain how fitting that is at a point, but first they need to download their thoughts on the whole season to each other. Despite seeing each other fairly regularly and talking constantly, Below Deck hasn't come up in conversation thanks to Peacock lagging a week behind on airings. Now that Peacock has switched to the following day, it's the perfect time for a catch up! How far does the apple fall from the tree? Listen and find out!
The race is on! The question is, are we referring to the literal one between Parsifal III and La Cattiva or is it the race towards Gary's next conquest? While Adrienne is cheffing it up in the Keys, Jen is joined by our favorite Brit Roy, and he helps her decipher whether Daisy's comments to Scarlett at dinner were really jokes, or if she's just trying to save face after making Scarlett cry. Marcos gets some crushing news, but will he be able to push through and perform? As for the title, we doubt we need to elaborate on who the HoJo of stews is as it's been fairly self explanatory this season.
This week's Super Fan episode is a long time coming and was pure joy to finally make happen. Angel, the Crimson Kitty half of Lorelei of Florida, is part of the duo you hear every week before the recaps begin. She and her partner in pirateship The Captain aka Terry Abbott wrote and performed "Down Below" for Gangplank almost a year ago, and Angel got sucked into the Bermuda Triangle of Below Deck. This week was a little fillery, but there were still some great moments to be found and Marco absolutely killed that 10 course meal. Is production hoping we'll say, "Kiko who?"

Super Fan Beth is from Sandusky and Below Deck Sailing is her favorite among the franchises, so this was the perfect time to get her takes on the guests and the antics so far this season. We also got to hear her first impressions on the newbies, and what she's looking forward to having happen throughout the rest of Season 3.

A lightbulb went on for one of Gangplank's previous Super Fans this week and she's back to spill more tea. You might remember when Katherine visited us before, she had tons of tea to spill, the biggest being about Ashley hitting up Katherine's former captain. Well, this week's episode had Katherine figuring out who the male friend was accompanying Ashley on the boat. It's just a short spot o' tea, so drink up!
If you're a nerd like Jen you may have heard the old Klingon proverb, "Revenge is a dish best served cold." If you're an intellectual you probably realize the phrase didn't originate with Star Trek. Either way, if karma were to devise a plan for revenge over Gaby feeling marginalized...these guests would be the ticket. Over-the-top cocktail recipes, sleeping through meals, and barking out multiple requests rank them right up there with Cherica. It was so commentary-worthy that Adrienne emerged from her Chardonnay-nay hangover to break it all down from her land yachting location.
Even though there wasn't a new episode this week, we wouldn't leave you hanging without a Super Fan breakdown on what's gone down up to the halfway point. This week's guest is super fan Nikkia (@EchoDoesRadio on Twitter) and she brought some amazing insight and perspective on this season of Sailing Yacht so far, and helped enlighten us on some similarities between the experiences of past crew members and what Gaby faced during her time on the ship. Adrienne and Jen are sad to see Gaby go, but happy for the choices that led her to the beautiful place in her life where she is now. What they aren't happy about and were frankly shocked by, was what the closed-door dialogue led them to believe went down between Ashley and Gary. Unless it's someone we're hustling off of the gangplank, goodbyes are always difficult. This one is especially so, because even before the show aired, Gaby was a great friend and guest on Gangplank Report. Bravo was fair. They warned us a week ago that these guests were coming. We knew what we were in for, yet somehow it didn't make experiencing the rude, obnoxious, classlessness of it all any easier. Aside from the guests from the depths, crew mates try to make amends. Two are decent at it, one apparently doesn't think it's a two-way street. There's also a transom mishap and a communication breakdown on what exactly "medium plus" is, as well as our poll results and a listener question from our friend Georgie in the UK.
Super Fan Amanda brought the Dynamic, albeit without the Duo part of her Grandma Linda. Unfortunately, Linda's a little under the weather, but hopefully hearing her granddaughter rock this episode will have her feeling right as rain soon. Find out how their weekly Below Deck ritual got started and who makes the show worth watching for them.
More than once watching this episode the ladies were wondering what the heel was going on. Guests falling, Dollar Store decor, and don't even get them started on what Tom had to do for the birthday party. Adrienne and Jen do their best to sort it all out, but one thing that was and is top notch in their eyes is Marcos. His backstory is heartbreaking, but his attitude, pride in his work, and massive skill set puts all of the pieces back together.
There is a great community of Below Deck fans online, and that's how we got to know this week's Super Fan Will. His knowledge of the show, interesting research above and beyond what they show us about sailing, and his wicked sense of humor make him the perfect fan to inaugurate Gangplank's voyage into Below Deck Sailing.
It's baaaaaccccckkk! Adrienne and Jen are so excited to get to talk about Sailing Yacht after being bowled over by how great season 2 was before they started Gangplank. The first episode not only didn't disappoint but has the ladies pumped for what looks like a very entertaining season. So much so that one of the ladies is already tossing around Emmy hopes. On this recap the gals give their first impressions on the new faces and discuss which ones they're happy to see return.
Stick a fork in this season because it's finally done, and Adrienne and Jen couldn't be happier. While not a lot of new information came out of the reunion, the ladies were still able to pick apart a few things to wrap up this series. Gangplank is going to take a much needed mini-hiatus, but we will be back and ready to recap Below Deck Sailing Yacht the week of February 21st. We made it to the finale!!! We can't quite figure out how this season of Below Deck felt so long when it's actually shorter than many previous seasons. What we do cover though is the drama of the final evening out and thoughts on future seasons. Plus Jen gets a chance to surprise Roy with a call in from Adrienne, who took a break between preparing lunch and dinner for the guests on her charter to put in her two cents on this season's final episode.

We've reached the penultimate episode, not counting the reunion, and it's hard to say who is more tired and over the season...us or the crew. Everyone seems cranky and off their game. Jen apologizes in advance for being unable to maintain positivity when it comes to Heather, but Adrienne felt a kinship with the Grief Stew in at least one portion of the episode. The ladies discuss that, as well as the odd coupling of Fraser and Jake, and also Eddie's massive screw up leaving the engines running and then leaving the boat. They end with their guesses on who might be returning next season and their reactions to the wild Below Deck Sailing trailer that dropped this week.
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht trailer dropped today and a face seemed might familiar to Jen, who was left out of the "Gaby is going to be on the upcoming Sailing season" loop. Jen is going back to listen to see if she can pick up on hints she was oblivious to at the time. If you care to join her, just remember...this is an F bomb-a-rama, so no delicate ears should be present.
This week's Super Fan Rob linked up with us on Twitter and he and Jen have had such a good time chatting about the show through DMs that they wanted to carry it over to the podcast. Also, Adrienne is finally on dry land and she popped in for a bit while she was driving home to say hello, share some of her recent experiences, and answer a question from Rob.
Weather has Adrienne socked in down in the Bahamas, so international man of mystery Roy joins Jen again to break down the hodgepodge served in this week's episode. So many things went on that it was hard to stay focused, and the attention-deficit-level bouncing around also made it difficult to get too up or too down about anything. What Jen and Roy are sure of, is that Kaylee is way sweeter than expected and not the mini-me version of Heather worthy of nightmares they'd envisioned.
While the Yachtie's away, the Super Fan will play...at nepotism that is. Jen's daughter Chef Kelsey Sentney is back to share her impressions of the OG Below Deck season, and an anonymous Captain grants us a short interview to wrap up the Super Fan Takeover week.
Adrienne is on charter and Tiffany is in transit, so Jen and her buddy Roy from the UK are doing a Super Fan Takeover of Gangplank Report. Charter guest Melissa may be lactose intolerant, but she, Fraser, and Captain Lee all had moments of being Heather Intolerant this week, and Roy and Jen don't blame them a bit. News of Heather's friend joining as a stew mid-charter heightens Fraser's insecurities and ruffles his feathers. Captain Lee is less than thrilled about being volunteered as an officiant of a vow renewal before being asked. And Melissa refused the rest of her meal over Heather's far from stellar customer service skills. Are the winds changing for the Chief Stew or is it all faux drama with a second season contract at the ready? Listen and find out Roy and Jen's thoughts on all of that and more.
We could not think of a more joyous way to start the new year than to sprinkle a little Stephanie "Sunshine" Williams on it. This episode is raucous, and bawdy to be sure (no little ears need to listen!) But it is also poignant and deep in parts, yet filled with laughter to the absolute end. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed our time with Stephanie as we discussed Below Deck and beyond.
This episode almost needed a bouncing ball to follow. Or more time stamps. Or fewer time stamps. Or something. There was a lot to process and Adrienne and Jen do their best to break it all down and give their honest takes. It's natural to reflect on highlights as a year reaches its end and you're faced with new one. We're bringing this one back from the vault in case those of you who weren't watching Below Deck Med at the time missed it. Father and daughter duo Lars and Tamara recorded this while Lars was in hospice. He passed away shortly after it aired. We treasure the time we got to spend with him and we hope you will too.

We're ending 2021 with an early Christmas gift for you. We were still trying to recover from last week's episode, and the hits kept coming. Jessica decided that the job wasn't for her and quit before Heather had the chance to fire her. The co-primary struggled throughout the first day with being the last person served when she needed the sustenance the soonest because of her liquid diet. And the jet skis decided they wanted to take a page out of Jess's book and kept escaping the tethers tying them to the boat.
Fair warning, Gang, this episode is way more raucous than our usual fare. Cocktails were flowing as we chatted with Super Fan and yachtie Gaby Barragan. Adrienne and Jen had so much fun hearing Gaby's perspective about real life yachting versus what she's been watching for years on Below Deck. It isn't just the ocean that's blue here, so is the content, so listen with earbuds or at least out of earshot of impressionable tykes.

Adrienne is back early due to a malfunctioning ship, but we didn't want to miss out on the chance to have Tiffany back, so we made it a trio this week. There was a lot discuss and much of it surrounded Heather. If the title didn't give it away...we were less than pleased. We also wonder where the blame lies in the deck crew not functioning like a well-oiled machine when it's halfway through the season.
This week we reach out across the pond to talk to Jen's friend known on Twitter as King Willie, but better known in real life as Roy. Lockdown may have introduced him to Below Deck, but the yachts and the people kept him binging away. He gives the ladies some interesting insights on how differently yachting in general is viewed in the UK versus the States, and has some frank and funny takes on the crew as well.
While Adrienne is at sea doing her yacht chef magic, Captain Tiffany Copeland steps in to co-host with Jen and break down Episode 7. We're used to booze cruises at this point, but in celebration of the primary's one year anniversary of his victory over breast cancer, this charter becomes a Boobs Cruise. You'd think with a theme like that, everyone would be happy, but tempers are flaring all over the boat and the guests are getting eyefuls and earfuls of the eruptions.
We get a mini-reunion of two Below Deck franchise alums when Captain Tiffany Copeland from Below Deck Mediterranean stops by. She and Adrienne were friends before Tiffany filmed her season and they share behind the scenes tidbits and discuss this season of Below Deck and more. Also Adrienne shares a personal story in the hope of ending the stigma of silence that surrounds a recent life event.
When the wind is your main source of drama, things might be slowing down a bit, but it was kind of picturesque watching the trampoline escape its tethers and bounce happily across the ocean. Adrienne and Jen admit that they might have judged Ronnie and Jodi a little too quickly, but they're holding firm on their opinions about the interior cattiness. And Jake did what ever the next step is above embarrassment to himself and the boat.

This week's episode was total chaos, but the kind of most reality television viewers dreams. There were cringe moments, shock, dismay...and those were just Captain Lee's facial expressions at dinner. On top of the drunken madness we discuss Rachel and Eddie's hash out and Fraser and Heather's possible need for another one.
Some people think she's entirely fictional, others are sure she's a Below Deck Med production plant. In truth Norma Trease is so much more than a name in Captain Sandy's contact list. She's a yachting industry veteran and a force to be reckoned with. Norma has gone from being a yacht chef to starting a crew agency that grew to be a worldwide resource in the industry. And that's just the beginning of her entrepreneurial endeavors. Norma was also a longtime friend of Captain Mark Howard and sets the record straight on his untimely passing, and also honors him with a beautiful tribute that gives us all insight into what made him truly a Super Captain.

Hey Gang! For those of you who may be new subscribers to the podcast, we wanted to re-air the podcast interview he did with us at the end of our Below Deck Med Season.
Captain Lee is back and Twitter was ecstatic! While we're happy to have him back and in good health and spirits, we were less than thrilled with the commentary surrounding Captain Sean's send off. It was never going to be a fight to the finish. Captain Lee is Below Deck's captain. Sean was just doing Bravo a favor, so is genuine gratitude too much to ask? Genuine gratuity happened with the guests' tip, but it came with constructive criticism strings attached. Heather and Fraser iron out some wrinkles...or do they? And things start to heat up fast with Rayna and Jake, but then the phone rings.
Below Deck OG is back, Gang! The season starts off in utter chaos as Captain Lee is delayed and the delivery Captain Sean Meagher has to step in at the helm to keep the charter season on schedule. Eddie is back, but in a new position as First Officer, and Rachel returns as Chef, but aside from that we have a whole new crew to get to know. There's already tension and it's not all in the lines tying them to the dock. The guests are ready for a party, but is the party ready on time for them? It may seem like nepotism, but once you hear Jen's daughter Kelsey break down her thoughts on the six seasons of Below Deck Med, you'll quickly realize that she earned her Super Fan spot. Kelsey gives her perspective as a chef on all of the chefs throughout the seasons and shares her opinion on where this season falls when ranked against previous ones in the series.
It's a tale of two yachties. One who makes a mistake, takes ownership of it, and does everything she can to make it work. Then there's her counterpart who can't seem to recover from any error, no matter how minor. Thankfully amid all of this, Lloyd returns and brings light back into the chaos. We've had to change the theme a little this week to bring you a very special interview. Gangplank is giving you a chance to get to know Super Captain Sean Meagher before he hits your screens on the premiere of Below Deck OG as the relief Captain on My Seanna. He steps in and mans the helm when Captain Lee's arrival is delayed. Captain Meagher shares some of his past adventures and what led up to him appearing on the upcoming season. We feel beyond fortunate to get the opportunity to introduce him to you. A quick wit with a great philosophy on life and a way of combining yacht life with fulfilling your dreams and passions. With the interior down to two, you'd expect that it was them who were struggling, but that isn't the case. The fellas are experiencing the lack of focus that comes at the end of the season, and the team that had been going like gangbusters up to this point are now looking pretty green. David gets thrown in the chastisement mix, which doesn't sit well with him or with us. Lloyd experiences a medical emergency and the Captain thinks a hospital visit is in order.
Gangplank's first return guest is Super Fan and host of Behind the Velvet Rope podcast David Yontef. This season of Below Deck Med was just beginning, so we wanted to give David a chance to share whether his opinions had changed over the course of the season. He filled us in on that, some other Bravo prognostications, and we even ventured into the realm of American Horror Story. Don't miss out on this bonus-sized episode.
Fight? What fight? Apparently the Captain and Bosun throw-down was easier to get over than a two-inch-high fence. Everything is almost immediately hunky dory between the two and we're left wondering if it was a practice run for an improv course. New guests arrive and it's time for a beach picnic with only two interior crew. That means the brunt of the work falls on the exterior, and the timing couldn't be worse considering David's injury. Swag Nasty turns into Swag Whiny without Lexi around to complain about, and Katie doesn't have the time to spare for him.

This episode of Below Deck is jam packed. A new crew member arrives and she's stew-ISH. We lose a magical unicorn, and Chef Mat loses a few layers of skin from a burn. Lexi's up in arms about her demotion and being stuck on early shift with Mat for two charters in a row. David gets the most cringe Sumo Strip Show we've ever seen, and we're still trying to figure out why Katie is in such a rush to get Delaney off of the boat when to us, Lexi is clearly the problem child.
What started out as a fun interview about what it's like to be a Below Deck Super Fan and charter yachts without cameras, wound up turning into one of Gangplank's most impactful interviews to date. Our guest Karen Borin has strong charitable ties to Haiti and just before the episode was set to air, Haiti's President was assassinated. We put the episode on hold out of respect during that difficult time and wanted to touch base with Karen again for an update. More misfortune beset the island nation right before the follow up and Haiti was hit with a massive 7.2 magnitude earthquake. With Karen's help HaitianSportsFoundation.org had just completed construction of a technical school, and it is now housing 90 displaced families who lost their homes. Karen shared their joint mission with us, and if you are moved to donate you can do so either through HaitianSportsFoundation.org 's website, or through the foundation Karen created in memory of her father The Duane Davis Foundation. Lexi is still doing less than most green stews and the guests are seeing it reflected in their service. Not good. But the deck crew and Mat are at the tops of their games and are making up for the interior's failings. Katie mulls over whether adding a fourth stew will help or hurt them as a team. And we find out ranks might hang in the balance.
Adrienne was hunkered down in the Bahamas bracing for Tropical Storm Fred, so Jen's flying solo in this interview with Nikki, aka No1GIFQueen from Twitter. The "will he or won't he" of whether Mathew will return to the ship has now transformed into "will they or won't they" in regards to Karry and Clint tying the knot.
