FIELD OF FLAMES is a straight edge band from San Jose, CA. In the last few years the Bay Area hardcore scene has blown up and is recognized internationally, but Field of Flames has been doing since putting out their demo in 2017. The Runts are punk band from Northeast Los Angeles that have been around since the early 2000's and reformed a few years ago. Since their return they have played tons of shows including Sound and Fury 23 and a rooftop, put out some new music and are currently playing a string of final shows before playing last official shows at the Lodge Room in February 2024. Sound and Fury 2023 took place during the entire week of 7/24 - 7/30 including multiple pre shows and after parties. The main fest happened outside at Exposition Park in Los Angeles, CA over the weekend and featured bands from all over the world both hardcore and adjacent genres. IN TIME was on the show in the middle of the pandemic October 2020 before I had ever met them and they had only played a few shows and just put out their demo. Since then they have toured, played tons of shows, put out an EP and shared the stage with Downpresser, Big Boy, Spy, Initiate, Raw Brigade, Dead Heat and Scowl just to name a few. They just put out a 12" EP on Indecision Records called "Save Your Breath" you can stream it everywhere and get a record at the Indecision Webstore.
