Hey everybody! We're Demetria and Christina, and Hey Sister! is our podcast for sisters, by sisters, about sisters and misters. And, yes, we are actual sisters - biological, sorority, and as Black women. Our name, Hey Sister!, is our usual greeting, especially on phone calls, and it was our phone calls - from silly to serious, personal to political, and everything in between - that served as the genesis for our podcast. After years of saying "we should do something with our conversations," in October 2017, we pressed record on a mobile phone, and we've been on a fabulous ride ever since.
Rest /rest/ - verb: cease work or movement in order to relax, refresh oneself, or recover strength. be placed or supported so as to stay in a specified position. Want some? Need some? How do you get it in your life?
