In this episode, we emphasize the importance of spirituality in our lives. Ashley Abramson and I explore topics such as the ego belief systems, personal development too focused on negativity, and standing in the light.
Ashley shares her transformative journey from darkness to embracing her truth and curiosity, challenging listeners to reflect on their own beliefs. She also talks about starting businesses and changing careers through High Performance Coaching, finding one's true purpose, and prioritizing the spiritual journey. She introduces her programs, the Unicorn Effect and Big Miracle Energy, aiming to clear societal conditioning and trauma and ignite the Jesus Revolution reloaded. Lastly, Ashley highlights the significance of starting with small things to spark awareness and curiosity, and shares her plans to sail the world and inspire others through a YouTube channel.
In this episode, we discuss:
Guest Bio:
Ashley Abramson is a Solution Focused Self-Love Mentor, Trauma Coach and social worker gone rogue! (her clients like to call her the ego whisperer) She is also a 3 time international best selling Amazon author and the Captain of bME - Big Miracle Energy, an empowering community where judgment is left behind, and you're invited to embark on a transformative journey.
She works with women who can’t stand the thought of another vanilla talk therapy session, she creates a space for their egos to feel safe and get to the root cause for why they feel stuck in life. Her method, The Unicorn Effect, works to peel back the layers of societal conditioning, programming, and trauma, so that they can experience a whole new level of self-love. And no, she doesn’t mean wine Wednesdays, and bubble baths —she teaches her clients how to connect with themselves in the purest form, where true, authentic self-love is born, to figure out who you REALLY are!
Most of her life, she had been a major outsourcer—looking for clues to who she was in personality tests, astrology readings and every quiz imaginable. At 32, she was faced with a life changing event, she was getting a divorce, which completely altered the trajectory of her life. She began to connect with her own inner child (who had been abandoned by her and most people she knew at a young age) and stopped looking externally.
Using her social work background and her expertise on the impact of childhood traumas, she began supporting women to heal the innermost parts of themselves and say sayonara to another Myers Briggs test. She guides women on their journey to clear out the noise that has been running their life and holding them back from their answers within.

Either way, she has been swept into a career that features horror and Science Fiction projects. She is less recognizable, but no less memorable, as the Horror Hag in Evil Dead III, Army of Darkness. Theatre being her true love, Pat was delighted to be featured in the Los Angeles Sci Fest of Plays.
Fans make a game of spotting her in the over 50 appearances in the Star Trek franchises: ST:TNG, DS9 and Voyager as well as the feature film “Generations”. Zombie fans will enjoy “Dead Air”, and sci fi fans may enjoy Pat’s book “Pleasure Thresholds, Patricia Tallman’s Babylon 5 Memoirs” , currently in its second printing!
Her recent work is helping people release their inner bad ass by leading epic quests to live their dreams of adventure and creativity in Patricia Tallman's Magical Living.
Pat's other projects include starring in the sci-fi audio thriller series “Anne Manx”, playing the evil badass, Lt. Jean Richmond.
Her favorite role is that of mother to her son, Julian.
Equally important to Patricia is her fund-raising activities for the children of Penny Lane. Through her efforts within the Science Fiction & horror community, Pat and her fans have contributed more than $350,000 to Penny Lane over the past several years. Since 1996, Pat, her friends, family and fans have made a holiday happen for the Penny Lane kids through the Be A Santa program. You can go to www.beasanta.org to join in the fun!

In today's episode, I share a quick update on the podcast, how the meaning behind the meaningful revolution podcast has changed, and FIVE mindsets to start your personal, meaningful revolution!
My work as a coach is to shift people into a more inspired life.
Almost all of my clients are successful, happy, high performing, and working on meaningful things. What almost everyone needs help with, though, is the ratio of meaningful tasks to busy work. So much of my work is helping people clarify what they find fulfilling in their relationships and work and the things that drain them.
Sometimes it means leaving a job where they treat you terribly. Other times it means figuring out your psychology so you can constantly work out and role model healthy behaviors for your kiddos.
Ultimately, we all want to live AMAZING lives. Imagine if every day you spent FOUR hours working on things that mattered to you, your health, your family, and the dent you make in the universe?
Contrast that to the reverse. Imagine doing four hours of busy work for every hour of tasks that help you build your career, wealth, relationships, and well-being.
In both examples, both folks are making progress in their dreams. However, one person will have a more significant impact over time.
When I talk about "The Meaningful Revolution," I speak to everyone's ability to change their meaning-to-busywork ratio.
So how can we improve our M2B ratio to me more in favor of fulfillment and meaning?
It starts with checking in on our mindsets. Here are FIVE mindsets all high performers have in common!
Need help with leveling up your mindset? Apply for a FREE 1-hour high performance strategy session here: https://www.shawnbuttner.com/coaching
Erin Hurly, MD and I have an amazing discussion on one of the biggest things we can do to transform our lives - self-care. Why? It’s impossible to be happy when you feel cruddy or when you don’t have relationships that support you. Listen to hear her journey, why self-care helps us be better all around, and habits to help you rejuvenate and THRIVE.
