In this episode, our expert is Roi Ariel from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. Roi has been focusing on responsible travel and sustainable tourism over the past decade. He previously worked with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP) researching sustainable development and green growth, as well as sustainability issues with the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).

The Travel Foundation have achieved considerable results through agro-linkages and stewardship projects, and this success has driven the ambition of their current Flavours from the Fields project.

Catherine Capon is a naturalist, adventurer and ecotourism advocate.

Prompted by her childhood fascination with all things wild, Catherine went on to study Zoology at Imperial College London before producing wildlife television with the likes of the BBC. Since then Catherine has continued promoting ecotourism via social media, online films, writing articles, giving speeches and leading expeditions to see our planet’s wildest places.

Catherine is also trustee of The European Nature Trust and a judge of the Travel Photographer of the Year Award.
