Today we discuss the science of Hermeneutics. Hermeneutics is the science of interpreting what an author has written. In Christian theology, hermeneutics focuses specifically on constructing and discovering the appropriate rules for interpreting the Bible. It is the science of interpretation and explanation; exegesis; esp., that branch of theology which defines the laws whereby the meaning of the Scriptures is to be ascertained.
Americans are constantly chasing the Holy Grail of happiness. But what we need to go through mourning on the way to happiness? What lessons does scripture provide?
Most of us cruise through life, not realizing how much we are affected by filters, some imposed upon is, but many filters we carry with us. This episode talks about our filters.
