Welcome to “A Worthy Treasure”. This podcast is a journey to a deeper discovery of who God is through faith stories, personal devotion, scripture, and discussion. We are always on a journey of transforming our minds to be more holy, like our Father in Heaven. We are treasured by our Maker, the most High Yaweh.
We hope that this can be a place where women can discover a deeper sense of being loved and valued. Being worthy in the Lord’s heart isn’t earned, it’s inherent. When you give your life to Christ, you die to yourself and become a new creation. His love through the cross is a covenant love. This kind of love will not ever die.
In this episode, we get to explore the idea of "Abiding" or "Walking" with God daily. There is so much to unpack, but more so, how do we unlock our hearts so that we can trust that God can satisfy our hearts?
We look at John 15: 1-17 and discuss what it looks like to "Abide in the Vine" on the daily.
It's really easy to work through our faith with "striving" instead of "fear and trembling". In this episode we will take a look at imperfection and often how our lives are driven by our need to be accepted instead of by knowing we are already accepted. This is the beginning of the concept for my new book, that I'm currently writing.
In this episode, I share about my history with music, songwriting and worship. From a very young age music was an ingrained part of me. I journey through 20 years of ups and downs in writing and how God is redeeming my heart as I'm being faithful to His calling to write worship music for my church and a generation.

I've taken a hiatus on posting for this podcast and it's been unfortunate. However, now is the time that God has brought me back full circle to share something beautiful. As we reflect on the past few years, we jump into discussing what it's like to start writing a book and a companion worship album, all from scratch... and a lot of help from Jesus.
Elise Takashima is a full time missionary based in Sydney Australia. What's cool about knowing this amazing woman of God, is that she began her journey in knowing and trusting God, right at the doorstep of where we live. Her faith journey began at http://www.coastchristian.org/ (Coast Christian Fellowship. )From the beginning, growing up as a pastor's kid, she tells her story of encountering God and following Jesus to today. In this episode, she talks about the call of the Great Commission, the ups and downs of being a full-time missionary, and what it looks like to be fully surrendered to Jesus. I loved chatting with her because her fervor for Jesus is so vibrant and can't help but get you excited to know the person of Jesus. For those of you who are wondering what it's like to be a full-time missionary, Elise is the real-deal. There is no question about her heart to see people connected with heart of God and excited to see revival in Sydney! I am so excited and honored to have interviewed Elise for the second episode of A Worthy Treasure's Podcast. She is a perfect example of sharing the testimony of what God is doing today. My hope is that you will be inspired to start your own journey toward being a local missionary, because the great commission isn't only about going over seas, it starts exactly where you are. There has never been a greater time than now to be bold in your faith and share the TRUTH OF JESUS to the people around you.
