In episode 92 of LePodcast, Hoop and Sainey continue their deep dive series with Sainey’s ALL TIME FAVORITE player, Russell Westbrook. To start, the boys recap his early years with OKC, including his rise to stardom and the unfortunate circumstances that kept him and the Thunder from winning a title.
From there they talk about his thunder years post- KD, and the recent part of his career away from the thunder on a few different teams.
In episode 91 of LePodcast, Hoop and Sainey continue their deep dive series with one of the most improbable champions of all time, the 2011 Dallas Mavericks. From the time their franchise started, Dallas could never get the job done in the playoffs, so the boys harp upon how impressive it was for Dirk to lead this team to a ring in a year where the west was so stacked.
In episode 90 of LePodcast, Hoop and Sainey switch up their “deep dive” series by looking into a team rather than a player. The hosts thoroughly explain why the 2012 Bobcats were the WORST team in NBA history. Between the front office, the roster, and the wild circumstances Charlotte had to face, it becomes clear as to why this basketball team was SO awful.
In episode 89 of LePodcast, Hoop and Sainey continue their Deep Dive series with Tim Duncan. They start off by discussing his IMMEDIATE impact on the Spurs, along with how other pieces of the Spurs dynasty were falling into place in the early 2000s. They then get into his MVP seasons, along with the team success San Antonio was having (winning 3 rings in 5 years). Lastly, they discuss the wild years of 2013 and 2014 for the Spurs, and how Duncan had a storybook ending to his career.
In episode 88 of LePodcast, Hoop, and Sainey continue their Deep Dive series with Carmelo Anthony. They start off by discussing his amazing start in Denver, along with his immediate impact on winning. Hoop then breaks down the ENTIRETY of Melo’s Knicks tenure, as he explains year by year how the Knicks fell apart and became a joke of a franchise. The goal of this podcast is to open eyes to the TRUE reason why Melo never won a ring.

They start off by discussing his rise to stardom in Cleveland before LeBron joined the squad, and then how the 2016 finals cemented him as a premier superstar of the NBA. The boys then discuss his Boston years along with the fallout he had there, as well as the WILD stint he had with Brooklyn. Kyrie and his teams were full of what if’s, and the boys cover them all.
In episode 85 of LePodcast, Hoop, and Sainey continue their Deep Dive series with Kawhi Leonard. They start off with discussing his rise to stardom in San Antonio, and how he was positioned to possibly bring the Spurs ANOTHER ring in the late 2010s. Next, the boys talk about Kawhi’s dramatic exit with the Spurs, and how he was really the first big example of load management in the NBA. After that, the boys discuss Kawhi’s recent playoff success and struggles (Toronto and LA), and they also touch on a debate topic of where Kawhi ranks as a player in the 2010s.
In episode 84 of LePodcast, Hoop, and Sainey continue their Deep Dive series with Kevin Durant. They start off by discussing his Seattle/OKC years, and how KD quickly became a top dog in the league. They talk about his QUESTIONABLE move to join the Warriors after losing to them in 3-1 comeback fashion, and they debate whether or not Kevin’s rings with Golden State “count” or not. They lastly touch on his Brooklyn years, and stress how incredible his 2021 playoff run was until it ended with his foot on the line…

In Episode 72 of LePodcast, the Boys welcome back Zach Schwartz as a guest and kick things off by taking a deep dive into the Lakers and Warriors series. The conversation then transitions into a discussion on Stephen Curry and his woes during the clutch. Finally, Sainey and Hoop get into a heated debate on if Thibs is overplaying his players, and if he’s to blame for Grimes' injury in game 5.NOTE: Zee's audio cuts out at the 26min mark, so he doesn't speak for the second half of the episode. In Episode 71, the Boys spend a majority of the episode discussing the heated battle between the 76ers and the Celtics in the second round, re-capping the first 4 games and what positives and negatives each side is showing thus far in the series. A brief discussion on the Lakers Warriors series also breaks out which ends off with a quick recap of the other series. The Boys begin the episode by cracking jokes about the rumour of Jordan Poole and his date with Ice Spice, but want to stress that it is just a rumour that they are making jokes about, and are not giving any confirmation on the supposed date.
In Episode 70 of LePodcast, the boys give their takes on whether or not Dillon Brooks deserved to be cut from the Grizzlies, and they also predict where he will play next (Hong Kong???). Then, the boys tackle each remaining playoff series and discuss the pivotal moments we’ve seen already in round 2, including Jordan Poole’s game-winning attempt and James Harden’s 45-point masterclass.
In Episode 69 on LePodcast, Hoop and Zee discuss the ending of one of the greatest 1st round series in NBA history, being Kings vs Warriors. They give predictions on whether or not Curry and company will continue their run and best LeBron’s Lakers, and if they could possibly go even further. The rest of the episode consists of predictions and reactions to the rest of the NBA playoffs, as the Knicks are highlighted as a sleeper team to give not only give Miami trouble, but also make some noise in the eastern conference finals.
In Episode 68 of LePodcast, Hoop and Zee discuss the RIDICULOUS performances of Jimmy Butler, and they also predict how far he can take Miami (Past the Knicks???). They also share thoughts on who the weakest link is in both the eastern and western conferences out of the teams that are left, as the NBA prepares for perhaps the craziest late playoff rounds we’ve seen in the last 5-10 years.
In Episode 67 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss what has been so far a heated first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs. A discussion on recent ejections which have included a player being hit in the groin breaks out which segways into conversation on each of the different matchups we have seen so far in the first round.
In Episode 66 of LePodcast, the Boys recap the first bit of Playoff Action we've seen so far leading up to April 18th 2023.
A huge discussion breaks out on the Kings Warriors series and if Draymond Green should have been suspended for his actions against Sabonis.
This is followed up by a conversation surrounding the Suns Clippers series, recapping the first two games, and talking about the impact Russell Westbrook has been having for this Clippers squad.
A brief mention to the Knicks is also made and if Tom Thibodeau should stop playing his star players when the game is already decided in the final minutes.

In Episode 60 of LePodcast, the Boys continue on from the previous episode where they ranked the Eastern Conference Duos, and this time rank the Top 12 Duos in the Western Conference. The playoff race in the West is super competitive, so they ranked the Top 12 teams instead of the Top 10 as they did for the East.Show less
In Episode 59 of LePodcast, The Boys spend the whole episode going over their Top 10 Eastern Conference Playoff Duos for this season. The criteria for this list is that the team must be fighting for a Playoff spot in the East, and you must judge strictly off of the two players as a duo.
In Episode 58 of LePodcast, the boys recap the highly anticipated game between Draymond Green’s Warriors and Dillon Brook’s Grizzlies. A conversation regarding Cam Thomas’ disappearance also breaks out, and that leads into talking about the oddities of the Brooklyn Nets in general. They wrap up by talking about the Knicks’ struggles without Jalen Brunson, and the Lakers’ hot streak after trading Russell Westbrook.
In Episode 57 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss Draymond Green and his recent comments against Dillon Brooks and weigh in their opinions on the situation, then a discussion on Kevin Durant and his recent ankle sprain breaks out and with reports saying he may POTENTIALLY be out for the rest of the season, a conversation on how the Suns will look without him and what that means for the NBA Playoffs breaks out.
In Episode 56 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss the New York Knicks and their recent DOUBLE OT thriller versus the Boston Celtics where they pulled away with a win. Next, a discussion breaks out on what the Grizzlies will do now that Ja Morant will be out indefinitely due to his actions off the court. A majority of the episode discusses the Warriors and their recent comeback and what they may look like when the NBA Playoffs start.
In Episode 55 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss the recent accusations pinned against Memphis Grizzlies Star Ja Morant, which then transitions into a discussion revolving around Damian Lillard and his placement in the league currently and all time, and if he is overrated in terms of how the media portrays him. In Episode 53 of LePodcast, the boys kick off the show by discussing the Top 10 1v1 Players in the league, after Hoop shows his list for Zee and Sainey to break down which leads to a great debate amongst each other. The show then transitions into award predictions (MVP, MIP, DPOY, 6MOTY) now that we are nearing the end of the season. The show ends with a heated debate on if the Warriors can still be a threat come Playoff time.
In Episode 52 of LePodcast, the Boys recap the 2023 NBA All-Star weekend, talking about all of the events that took place and why it fell short once again. Ending off with a discussion on Russell Westbrook signing with the Clippers and what teams they believe are contenders as we near the end of the season.
In Episode 51 of LePodcast, the boys summarize the events that will be taking place during the All-Star weekend, more specifically the 3 Point Contest, and how it feels the NBA “Cheaped” out by selecting Julius Randle to participate in it. Next, they do a blind draft, where Zee and Hoop both know the topic they’re supposed to draft their team around while Sainey has no clue, and has to try and draft a team that matches the same criteria placed and see how his team matches up with the other two. Finally, a conversation on the Top 10 Basketball Players in the World breaks out and the boys each give their list to debate where each player is placed amongst each said list.

A conversation on the greatest “Tank Commanders” (best players that contribute to losing) also takes place which transitions into a discussion on if Michael Jordan would be Top 3 in Todays League.
In Episode 46 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss the OT Thriller that took place between the Celtics and Lakers, addressing the No Call on LeBron in the Clutch and his reaction to the game. Later, a conversation on the All Star Starter Snubs, Shai and Joel Embiid takes place which leads into how Embiid is the most DISRESPECTED NBA Superstar of all time. Ending off with a discussion on where Nikola Jokic could potentially end up on the All Time rankings by the end of his career.
In Episode 45 of LePodcast, the Boys kick off the episode with intensity discussing the NBA "Rivals" Week Matchups, while also getting into a discussion about the Trade Deadline and moves we could expect to see, transitioning into a conversation on the Potential All-Star selections and how stacked the league is with Guard Talent, mentioning key players that may MISS the All-Star game.

In Episode 44 of LePodcast, the boys debate James Harden and his playoff woes, discussing if the media puts too much blame and criticism on James Harden and his playoff performances. A VERY heated debate erupted while trying to come to the conclusion if James Harden is in fact, a HISTORIC playoff choker.
In Episode 43 of LePodcast, the Boys go into a deep discussion on this years MVP race as we fade further from the halfway point of this NBA Season, making the case that this is the hardest MVP to win in NBA History, which leads into a discussion on Nikola Jokic and his case for being the GREATEST Offensive player the league has ever seen. A discussion on which Eastern Conference forwards will make the All-Star starting lineup also breaks out during the episode.
In Episode 42 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss what a potential NBA Expansion could look like, and they come up with they’re own teams with a logo and significance behind the team branding. They also discuss Mac Mcclung being named to the Dunk Contest as a G-League player and name their dream dunk contest lineup, and then finish off with a “Guess that Rating” where the boys try to guess different NBA players 2K ratings.
In Episode 41 of LePodcast, the Boys do a “Would you Rather” with things that happen in a basketball game, then follow up with discussing Nick Wright's Top 55 list and make one of their own in only 5 MINs to show how bad the list truly is.
In Episode 40 of LePodcast, the Boys each go through their Top 5 Players who change during the Clutch. This applies to both players who drastically improve, or drastically become worse, and the boys discuss each pick and why they decided to include each player on their list.
In Episode 39 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss the state the league is in offensively, comparing the evolution of offense to defense in recent years while leading into a discussion on how an All-Star and All-NBA selection this season and these coming years will mean a lot more compared to years prior due to the amount of talent we are witnessing in the NBA.

In Episode 37 of LePodcast, the Boys welcome guest Zach Schwartz, Co-Host of the hit Podcast "Outta Pocket" where we discuss the Lakers moving forward with reports AD's injury may be worse than expected, a "This or That" featuring Trae Young, and questions for Zach which he uses to branch off and tell stories of different NBA Players he has interviewed on "Outta Pocket" including a story from the perspective of Iman Shumpert, who describes what that Kyrie Irving shot from Game 7 was really like.
In Episode 36 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss Harden’s recent comments on how much of an impact he’s had on the game, stating the only thing he is missing is a championship for people to give him the credit that he believes he deserves, along with a discussion on the Warriors without Stephen Curry, and how much trouble they could be in while he’s out.
In Episode 35 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss the Suns recent struggles and if they should start to worry, along with trade packages that may strengthen their roster to get back on track, along with a heated discussion on everything going wrong with the Warriors.
In Episode 34, the boys argue over Jayson Tatum’s questionable superstardom and whether or not the “Unwritten Rules” of basketball ACTUALLY matter. They also break down some of the best duos the NBA has seen to determine who in the duo contributed more to the other player’s success, and of course, this leads to the boys ripping into John Stockton and his fraudulent assist numbers once again (duh).
In Episode 33 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss Anthony Davis and where he ranks amongst other players in the league when he’s healthy, a game of “What are the odds” where they discuss how likely it is for certain current players to become better than legends, and a HEATED discussion on who is a better overall player between 2016 Stephen Curry and 2018 Kevin Durant.
