I came from a church that nitpicked the smallest things. When did a desire to follow God and love him become "not enough?"
Why do people make salvation so difficult? Are prophets for today? How do we deal with prophecies?
What does true friendship look like? Should we see reconciliation with someone who isn't repentant or sorry?
Jesus said to become like children and children ask questions and want to know the reason for things. It's okay, as a Christian, to ask questions.

In this sermon we look at how bad our sin is to a holy God and how that makes Jesus Christ so much better. The sacrifice that he made and the grace that he offers become much greater when we recognize how badly we need him. He paid it all for you and for me and now when God looks at us, he sees us through the blood of his Son. Amen.
The kingdom of God is within you which makes you the church. The church is not a building that we gather in, but it is a community of believers who are baptized into one body. We are the family of God, the Body of Christ, the Bride of Christ, the light of the world, the people of God, the house of God, the temple of the Spirit, and the flock.

Where is God? That is the question that comes to mind when we face suffering and challenges in life. God is so vast and his ways can't be understood, but he is near and he won't leave us in the valley forever.

Jesus told his disciples to remain in Jerusalem until they be clothed with power from on high and receive the promise of the Father. We are to be witnesses to the world that Jesus Christ suffered, died, and rose again and now lives forever more. God's Spirit gives us life and ignites something in us to use the gifts to help others and show them a better way. When the children of Israel were under severe oppression, God wanted to bring them into a land flowing with milk and honey. God wants to give you something better!
This sermon looks at the opposition that Nehemiah faced while following the vision that God put in his heart. As a Christian we are promised persecution and opposition, but Jesus Christ has overcome and through him we will also overcome. I pray that this sermon will uplift you and encourage you to keep going on the path he has called you and use the gifts that he has put into your life.
When we come to the Lord Jesus and give our lives to him he takes the burden of our sin and rolls it away, but then as we go through life we experience suffering, hurt, pain, and we pick up burdens. Hebrews 12 tells us to lay aside every weight and the sin which easily besets us because there is a race to be run. When we come to the end of our journey I hope that we can say we have fought a good fight, kept the faith, and run the race well, to the best of our ability. I hope this sermon will encourage you to bring your troubles and burdens to the cross and leave them there and let the Lord give you something better.
This episode focuses on pain and how it is okay to grieve, but we must be willing to forgive, even when our feelings have not all been sorted out. What we are not able to forgive quite yet, surely the blood of Jesus will cover.

Luke 1:53 states that "he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty." God puts that hunger in us and then he fills us when we desire him in our lives. What will you do with Jesus?

This episode speaks of how God often works outside the box that we put him in. God is much bigger than we are and the scripture speaks of how his ways and thoughts are higher than ours.
For freedom Christ has set us free and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. We have a free will and we make choices, but our choices have consequences. In this sermon we look at God being a miracle worker and he still does the same things today. He is still a healer, deliverer, provider, etc. The last part of the sermon looks at how, if we want to see God work and do miracles, we need to learn how to love and treat people. I come from a works based religion that puts a lot of emphasis on how you dress/look (especially women). What is more important is producing the fruit written about in Galatians 5:22-23. 1 Peter 3 speaks about how God loves the meek and quiet spirit, so what is really important? Men take the convictions they have and put them on other people. Lord help us all.

There is power in the name of Jesus! Many of us may have forgotten who we are in Christ and that we have been accepted, adopted, redeemed, forgiven, and we have the seal of the Holy Spirit! It is time to stop living as beggars and no longer be ignorant of the wealth we have in Christ Jesus! In Christ is life and if we have him, we have everything.

Boundaries are something that isn't talked about much within Christianity, but they are necessary. There is a lot of people doing things because they want to be accepted or they are afraid, but God calls us to follow him and not man.
