At Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center (MVESC), we understand the challenges you face in supporting students, educational staff and service administrators. We support you in your endeavors to help your students and staff succeed. Since 1914, we've been serving the educational staff, district administrators and service organizations who support the students and families within our region. Our agency has the largest service region in Ohio, covering more than 2,700 square miles. We serve more than 1,600 teachers and more than 24,000 students in 16 school districts. Within and beyond our seven counties, we have partnered with more than 105 educational service providers in 62 Ohio counties, 39 states and Canada.
This week I spoke with Adam Copeland, the new Director of Operations for Muskingum Valley ESC. In this episode we spoke about his new role at the ESC and his path to this new endeavor. In addition, we talk about some misconceptions about educational service centers and what services we can bring to the table for member districts that we serve and also those beyond our service area. Thank you Adam for volunteering to be on this episode of our new MVESC podcast project.

Check out our first episode of Southeast Ohio's Education Station! In our district administrator feed called "Bottom Line Leadership", I sat down with Mr. Chuck Rinkes, the Superintendent of River View Schools for a discussion on his first year as superintendent in the district. Thank you Mr. Rinkes for volunteering to be the first episode of our new MVESC podcast project. Southeast Ohio’s Education Station will continue to highlight the ins and outs of daily rural school districts around southeast Ohio, however, we need your stories and insight to make it happen. Email me if you have a fun story or personal insight you want to share with other educators around our service area.
