I also want to talk about the struggles of dealing with Long Covid, from devastating blows to mental health, to financial stress, gaslighting, tips for recovery, and everything in between. My story of the moderate heart issues I have been dealing with after getting Covid in March 2020
My story/ recap of some of my neurological symptoms caused by Long Covid. I fail to talk about this in a way that allows the listener to understand just how awful it has been, but this will do for now. I left some symptoms out due to time, Ex: headaches/ migraines, vision disturbances etc, but I will touch on them in a future episode.
A quick recap of my 'long covid' symptoms during the first year after the acute infection. This is extremely difficult to accurately explain. Many symptoms have been left out for time’s sake. Please note that I am speaking about this with a light air, but it has been traumatizing. When I mention I “couldn’t get off the couch”, I mean I wasn’t even able to walk to the washroom or shower without help. I could not function.
