I cant be the only one who realized that when ever the question is asked "Who was the toxic one in the relationship" almost everyone is ready to point fingers. I mean after all, we're all perfect beings so there's no way we could have been an fault or even contributed to a relationship that went bad. In this week's episode, we're owning some truths about ourselves. While it might be painful to admit and accept, we're holding ourselves accountable for the role we played in situations. We are identifying how we might have contributed to the negative outcomes. While recording I made the decision to admit to some uncomfortable truths about the woman I used to be. The next time you think about a relationship that failed; before pointing fingers, ask yourself "What if I was toxic?"

As women we often make excuses for accepting mediocrity. We are crippled by fear so much that we self sabotage as we bury our feelings so deep that  we often start to lose our identity. This week I want to talk about making selfish decisions that will bring you peace & joy in the long run. At the end of the day we all have our own path to choose but I hope after listening to this, you will be able to make those hard decisions with a bit more clarity. Over the past few years I've learned just how valuable it is to have a sisterhood circle that holds space for you. Do away with the "no new friends" narrative and open you heart to welcome healthy loving connections. When women come in alignment with the same goal or vision they are undefeatable. Don't think new friends cannot come into your life and feel like home to you. Allow yourself to love and connect .

In this week's episode I open up about a part of my journey that I've never shared publicly before. I speak about the burden women carry from the loss of a pregnancy or the feeling that they cannot have children. There are so many wombs that are crying but we can't hear or see them. Many are suffering with a smile on their faces because there is a fear of being seen as inadequate or incapable of performing our "womanly duties". If you can relate to this pain, you are not alone. Everyone's journey is different but it doesn't make your calling any less important. If you cannot relate, please be mindful of what you say. You don't need to know someone's story to be kind.

If you are a single mom struggling through this chaotic life,  while having to make the best decisions for your children; this is for you. As a single mother myself, I know just how hard it is to be healing & growing while simultaneously protecting our children in hopes of saving them from reliving these life cycles. Society constantly blames single mothers for making bad choices in men while not understanding the burdens we already carry whether we admit them or not. This is a reminder that you are doing the best you can with what you have. No one gave you a manual to do this parenting thing... especially to be doing it alone. I send love to you and your beautiful womb fruits. Trust that even though you might feel lost right now, it does get better.

Since the last time I uploaded an episode, so much has happened. There is this quote that always resonated with me. It goes something like this "I just want to go somewhere where nobody knows my name". I'm not sure who the writer is but they sure did speak to my soul. A few months ago I arrived at this cross roads in my life where I felt so confused & stuck. I had no idea where I was headed or needed to do to change the trajectory of my life. I felt like I had grown to full capacity in the space I was in. I knew deep down that I needed to make life changing decisions in order to truly change my life. I learned on this journey to trust God & His timing for my life. If like me, you're feeling stuck & you're looking for some form of direction, I hope this helps you start your own journey to finding what feels good to your soul.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with setting standards for yourself & having high expectations. It's almost like we are domesticated to believe that asking more of others is a bad thing. If you think you deserve better, ask for it. A person who loves and values you will adjust as needed to make you happy. Please be reminded that what you choose to tolerate is exactly what you deserve. If you are reading this then I want you to know that you no longer need to shrink your being to fit into spaces you don't belong. Let this be a reminder that you are deserving of the love  your spirit desires.

I want you to understand that it's okay to be soft & feminine. There is no need for you to force yourself against your natural flow to  be "independent". There's nothing cool or attractive about hyper-independence. That is trauma. Happy is the woman who has her own but even happier is she who has hers but is feminine enough to let a man lead and accept help with grace.  Being independent is overwhelming queens. You don't have anything to prove. And also, stop letting these men manipulate you so they can offer you the bare minimum!  I deserve a soft life and so I welcome that. I wish the very same for you.
