June saw the 49th staging of the East of Scotland Amateur Championship at Lundin Golf Club. Throughout recent history, the East of Scotland has produced a roll of honour that reads like a 'who's who' of Scottish amateur golfing royalty, but how much does the event cost to play? The 'Golfbreaks Get Back To Golf Tour' is a Scottish-based tour open to both male and female professional golfers, and amateur golfers with a handicap of 2.4 or less. The tour is organised by Scottish Golf professional, Alan Tait, and has been running since 2020 with an aim to provide flexible and cost-effective competitive opportunities for elite golfers across the country. Freddie has been competing in the GB2GT events this year, alongside special guest Zack. The St Andrews Links Trophy is widely considered to be one of the major championships of global amateur golf. Last year, Freddie got to play in it and decided it was well worth the money. This year, he didn't even make the reserve list...so he ended up caddying in the event instead!
