Do you still find time to date your spouse?
In today's episode, Katie Walters and I sit down and chat about what it's like being a mom of seven kids and the successful business she founded. Beyond that, we focus on how even with all these plates spinning, she and her husband, Josh, are more in love than they've ever been.
Katie gives us realistic tips on how to date your spouse, how to serve them, and why we should prioritize our marriage for our kids.
I learned so much from my conversation with Katie and I know you will, too!

Do you ever find yourself grieving the life you would be living?
Lisa Appelo found herself in this mindset after the unexpected death of her husband, Dan. Being a young widow and raising their seven children as a single mom was not the life she had pictured. As Lisa navigated through the grief she felt personally, and helped her children through theirs, she wondered if life would ever be good again. Would she ever smile again? Would she ever experience joy again?
Lisa now shares the lessons she has learned to help encourage other women experiencing loss. In this episode, we talk about this and her new book, Life Can Be Good Again: Putting Your World Back Together After it All Falls Apart.
One of my favorite parts of this conversation and the message within the book is that it blankets a myriad of different losses. I know that with Mother's Day coming up this week, there may be some of you who have experienced a loss of your mom or a child. Lisa's words and the message within this episode is meant to encourage and meet you just where you are!

Buckle up, friends. This episode is a tough one.
Diane Lazarus Van, a nurse practitioner, felt uneasy about the lack of movement she had felt in her 38th week of pregnancy. As a precaution, she and her husband went to the hospital to get checked, only to be released days later without their sweet baby girl, Delia Catherine, who was born sleeping.
Explaining the heartbreak of stillbirth, along with how she has gotten to a place of peace, Diane shares her experience with us. Not only that, we talk about trying for another baby after the loss of the first and how Delia is honored and remembered in the new life of her eight month old, Eleanor.
Diane gives us great tips in navigating grief, along with tips on how to support those around us who have suffered loss.

Do you have a passion for pouring into the next generation of women or have kids in multiple seasons of life?
I chat with my friend, Beth Wells, about both of these things! Beth is on mission to equip women to serve those around her and lead them well. She encourages women to be transparent, offer accountability, encourage others, and connect.
Being a mom of three - an adult, a teenager, and an elementary aged child - she knows the difficulty and reward found within parenting. We take time to look at each of these seasons and Beth offers great tips on how to press through each one, all while pointing your kiddos towards Jesus.
