I've only got 5 minutes to tell you about a great (or maybe not so great) video game, so here we go! It might be an old game or a new game, it'll probably be something I've played enough to actually talk about semi-competently.
Listen to me ramble vaguely for 3.5 minutes about the misunderstood aesthetics of Kid Cameleon and then proceed to rush though the important details.
I should probably stop playing this game but I can't stop just one more round I promise it's the last one
For a series as, well,. seasoned as Dragon Quest, this game is both a throwback and an evolution in all the best ways. Highly recommended if you want something short (but not too short) on narrative and long (but not too long) on systems.

An overlooked action RPG with really tight controls, a big island to explore, and tons of jRPG tropes that get occasionally subverted in really bizarre ways.
Quite possibly the best Final Fantasy to play right now, A game that perhaps flew a little too close to the sun, but I love it all the more for that.
The triumphant return of Classic 2D Sonic has been my most-played game for the last 400+ days and counting.
