Lawrence & Zipporah share their infertility journey and struggles with TTC (trying to conceive). After 8 years & counting of seeing pregnancy sticks read (-) NEGATIVE, in addition to others around them have children...it takes a toll on you emotionally. Being a kid magnet with automatic connectivity of fun & joy, they seemed to be 2nd parents to everyone else's kids and it's frustrating to not have a child of your own. Feelings of brokenness, shame and abandonment from God creep in because pregnancy is supposed to be a "natural" thing as your body is "supposed" to do what it's designed to do.
Nevertheless, God gives plenty of grace, value and affirmation throughout the challenging process, exchanging beauty for ashes. It's time to come out the shadows and shed light on something that's not talked about that much. They are relatable, honest & real to kick off Season 2! Lord willing their vulnerability will give freedom & hope to support someone else who's going through. You are not alone. This episode was sitting for months, may it be an encouragement to you!
