We are not on the journey between what is and what is yet to be alone. God bids us, "Come Journey With Me"
What do we do when the world seems to be spinning out of control? We take a lesson from the eunuch on the side of the wilderness road...
Today we find the disciples behind locked doors, hiding in fear, only one of them is missing. Come and discover there is a little "Thomas" in all of us.
The Flowering of the Cross is an ancient and meaningful tradition that represents the transition from Good Friday to Easter, from meditation on Jesus’ death to joyful celebration of resurrection. We love this tradition! Thank you for joining us.
We will journey from the glory of Palm Sunday through the passion of Passion week as we travel the road to the cross.
Today finds us wandering in the wilderness with the Israelites. choosing to stay with the serpents or trust in God's promise for new life; searching through the Psalm reading for the source of all our hope, and resting on God's promises for eternal life as we spend time with John. If you could write your own headlines, what would they say?
We encounter God's law in our opening verses; are reminded of his glory in our Psalm and the fast he wants from us in a reading from Isaiah. We encounter an angry Jesus flipping tables in John and reminded again that on the third day he flipped the tables again by defeating death on the cross and revealing the glory of heaven and the kingdom to come in his resurrection.
Sometimes taking up our cross means making it through one more day. In these times when so much is piling up on us, that is all we can do...make it through one more day sure of the hope that is Christ, that a new day is dawning.
A special Sunday sermon from Pastor Sharon Curry.
Lent call us to set aside time in our busy schedules to sit quietly with God, breathing in the aroma of God as we rest in his green pastures and beside his still waters. Lent calls us, as Spring begins to unfold around us, to walk in the garden of his creation, with God, enjoying his company, listening for the sound of his voice; sharing our deepest fears and longings.
When did we lose it; that amazement and wonder at God’s great works and his mighty power to overcome all things with a simple rebuke uttered through Jesus of Nazareth who speaks his words with such authority that even the unclean spirits recognize him?
Are you a Jonah, or Andrew, Simon, James or John? Do we run and hide when we hear God’s voice calling to us; or do we drop what we are doing and follow?

Moses climbed the mountain. Moses stood in the breach. God decided to save the people though they had sinned. When might we stand in the gap for the voiceless or the unheard?
The year is 2020. The rule of life is needed more than ever: Trust and Obey your God whose love is The Gift and will sustain you!
Kingdom of heaven living will look differently from our daily living. God's grace is the gift. Are you in?
Faith propels us to treat each other with dignity, respect, and grace, which are all gifts from God.
On this day of our church’s founding, we celebrate life, God’s promise to us, and how we go forth with that promise in our hearts.
