How do you respond to someone who is grieving? What do you say, or not say? Stephanie shares her thoughts on these very questions.

Stephanie has a fabulous conversation with Paul Granger. Eye opening and encouraging!
When asked who he is, Paul likes to say "a child of God and ambassador of Christ", because he's learned that these elements of his identity supersede and shape the rest. One of the ways God has invited him to live out the call to "love God and love others" is through the "shepherding gift": providing pastoral support, creating space for conversation and community, and advocating for those that may go unseen.
Functionally, he has spent the last two decades serving with various ministries, and now serves full time alongside YWAM in loving his neighbors in authentic ways. He also loves to create, whether it is his podcast "Where did you see God", writings, or videos. He loves spending time with his wife and kids, and they see their home -- which God gave them in a crazy way -- as an important piece of how they love their neighbors as a lifestyle.

Stephanie has a great conversation with John Jarman! A survivor of abuse and the author of Broken and Redeemed. "Broken and Redeemed is the story of [his] journey, beginning with [John's] troubled childhood and challenges as an adult, and resolving as he finds redemption in the grace of God."
Is a professional fitness coach and men’s discipleship leader with a passion for seeing lives changed by Jesus Christ. A former football coach and Marine Corps veteran of Desert Storm, John’s life was radically transformed from a self-destructive trajectory to one of life, wholeness, and a dynamic walk with Christ, a story that is told in the pages of Broken and Redeemed. John holds a master’s degree in Physical Education from Ohio University, and, as of this writing, is close to completing a Master’s degree in Theology from Faith Seminary in Tacoma, Washington, where he resides.

Stephanie has a insightful conversation with Rachel McCants, founder of R. Lindsey Unlimited and the author of Ladies As We Love Ourselves.
Rachel McCants is an author, speaker and founder of R. Lindsay Unlimited. Born and raised in the Dallas TX. Her health was impacted in a major way in 2016. A growing brain tumor inspired R. Lindsay Unlimited, a business devoted to encourage, inspire, and challenge ladies to discover and raise their self-worth and standards, not settle and walk in God’s will in all aspects of their lives. She published her first book, Ladies As We Love Ourselves: A 6-Step Program to Self-Worth in 2019.
Now, Christians hire her to ignite a dose of Jesus because most do not seek Him first, get too busy, get too stressed and fall short of accomplishing their goals. She helps them achieve growth in their relationship with Christ. Bottom Line: It’s by His grace.

Stephanie talks to Virginia Jones about her overcoming childhood trauma and turning the dial for the better for her own family.
Virginia and her husband raised and homeschooled their two daughters while working in the ministry. While homeschooling their daughters, they realized that it was the best decision they could have ever made. They realized that the world was a different place than what they grew up in. Virginia and her husband educated their daughters to think clearly and to stand up for what they believe in.
When her days of homeschooling were over she found that her time was her own. She tried several things but finally came to discover podcasting. She fell in love from the start. Virginia loves to meet new people, discuss people and events in history, talk about her little homestead and most definitely the Lord Jesus Christ.
When she is not podcasting, she enjoys time with her hobby and business of photography, her homestead and spending time with her family.

Stephanie has an insightful and engaging conversation with friend and co-recovering alcoholic Dr. Stephan Neff.
Dr Stephan Neff is passionate about demystifying mental health problems and helping the people around him live a life so full of joy that yesterday is jealous of today. Born in Germany, Stephan has studied medicine at the prestigious Heidelberg University before travelling and working around the globe. Nowadays he has settled down as an anaesthetist in beautiful New Zealand and has become a bestselling author and advocate for mental health and addiction.
He is uniquely qualified in this role. After all, a lifetime of trauma led Stephan to drown his sorrows, only to find that the critters can swim. As an alcoholic in recovery, he has experienced addiction and mental health problems first-hand. After successful rehabilitation, Stephan is now an expert in living a life so fantastic, that alcohol has simply no role to play. He shares this passion through his podcast, YouTube channel, and other social media (all titled "My Steps to Sobriety").
In his book "My steps to Sobriety" he shares the lessons he has learned as a doctor and as a man. And the truth is simple - The past does not equal the future. Every alcoholic can turn his life around, one little decision at a time. This book shows how to do it.
But would it not make sense to start earlier? Stephan believes that it is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men. His creative partnership with Belinda Managh has led to the beautiful "Esmee the mindful mouse"-series, which addresses core beliefs that are laid down in early childhood. The adventures of Esmee and her friends allow the children to learn about emotions and mindfulness in a playful way and help grownups to put these life lessons into daily practice.

Stephanie has a raw and honest conversation with Charlene Madden.
Charlene Madden has admittedly spent most of her life living in a state of darkness. After experiencing over 9 years of sexualized trauma at the hands of her grandfather, a decade of domestic violence, and 3+ decades of mental illness and suicidal ideology, she was just 2 days away from taking her life when she attended a women's workshop where everything changed. She was able to take off her blinders, begin the healing process, and find her Purpose by turning her Mess into a Message of Hope, Evolution, and Transformation that she now shares with people all over the world.

Stephanie talks to the courageous Sara Im.
Sara shares the remarkable challenges she faced and how she found her way to freedom in her book, “How I Survived the Killing Fields: A Story of Hope, Love and Determination.” Readers find it to be a remarkable story. Beyond the physical and psychological demands of life in a forced labor camp for four years, Sara battled multiple serious diseases simultaneously. With no access to medical care, nutrition, proper rest or adequate sleep, she was near death several times. However, with hope, love and determination, along with her strong religious faith and love for her family, she somehow managed to regain her health and escape the horrific oppression plaguing her homeland.
Following her escape to Thailand in 1980, Sara a year later immigrated to the U.S., starting a new life in Connecticut. In 1987, she became a U.S. citizen and graduated from Western Connecticut State University. In 1989, her mother and three brothers were able to reunite with her in the U.S. Beginning in 1999, she says she was fortunate to serve as her mother’s caregiver for the last 13 years of her life. In 2005, she moved to Tampa Bay with her mother and husband. Today, she runs her own business, “Smart Healthy Living,’ in which she works to enhance people’s lives through the use of effective natural nutrition and safe personal care products. Sara is co-founder and a director for the Christian Professionals Network of Tampa Bay and a long-time member of the Real Talkers Toastmasters Club 7306 in Clearwater, Florida.

TBRI® is designed to meet the complex needs of children who have experienced adversity, early harm, toxic stress, and/or trauma. Because of their histories, it is often difficult for these children to trust the loving adults in their lives, which often results in perplexing behaviors. TBRI® offers practical tools for parents, caregivers, teachers, or anyone who works with children, to see the “whole child” in their care and help that child reach his highest potential. Stephanie Olson talks to Marie Gould.
Marie Gould is a mother, author and Inspirational speaker from Omaha, Nebraska who through life’s twists and turns has learned the value of embracing your life journey so you can heal, grow and live the life you desire.
She was adopted as an infant and grew up in a middle-class community, but somehow never felt like she fit in. Due to a health crisis her father suffered her whole perspective changed and she began a path that would take her to places society would shame and criticize.
By her 20’s she became a single parent, worked to build a career as a cosmetologist and out of the welfare system, and eventually married and pursued teaching and encouraging people in ministry. After her marriage became unsavable, she stepped away and began this journey to discover the true meaning of loving yourself, healing from the wounds and losses and building a life in which she had realized her true purpose, to love herself, teach others how to love themselves and be free from the shame and loss that can hold one self captive.
She enjoys cooking, anything outdoors, painting and creating, working with people who desire to change and grow. Her greatest pleasure is sharing with people her story to enlighten them and encourage them to press forward into all life can offer!
